We ordered takeout from here last night at the recommendation of my hairdresser. They were fairly busy and everyone that we interacted with was very friendly and helpful. The pizza was subpar. The Italian sausage was practically tasteless and I could tell it was definitely not any sort of premium topping. No hint of anise seed whatsoever. The pepperoni was chopped up so little that I actually thought it was bacon bits. Never have I been to a restaurant where they didn't put actual slices of pepperoni on the pizza. It was like eating a cheap pizza out of the freezer section of the grocery store. Very disappointed My daughter loves chicken alfredo so they ordered her that as her meal. She literally took three bites. The chicken which was chopped up into tiny pieces tasted extremely processed and had no flavor. Accompanied with it was a mound of vermicelli with virtually no sauce. So bland so gross. We also tried their pin rolls which come highly recommended. They were hard and nothing to rave about. I couldn't tell what they were actually stuffed with because whatever it was had become one with the bread. We will not be back because the quality of food just isn't that great. I truly do not understand why anybody would recommend this place. Feel like we wasted $40. All I can say is if you're going to run a restaurant, see to it that your food...
Read moreI'm on a quest to find the best pizza in Nashville and while I understand that Lebanon is not Nashville I will take that into account. Each week I go into a place that serves pizza and simply order a cheese pizza. My thinking is that if they can make a BOMB cheese pizza then they have good pizza.
The name of this place is called "Painturo's Pizza" which in Lebanon means they have the best pizza in town for miles. The best way for me to classify their pizza is by calling it "Bar Pie". The pizza itself doesn't seem to be anything special aside from it's annoying diamond cut. It's like something you'd order for when you been drinking all day. Not too much flavor from the cheese or sauce it was just kinda mediocre. Honestly had it not been for the homemade signature sauces to dip my diamond slices I probably would've stopped eating it. I hope you like cornmeal too cause the bottom was caked in it. All in all for $11 it's not awful. Kinda reminds me of little caesars if they stepped their game up.
Nathan took my order on the phone. That boy gave me excellent customer service, was attentive, and gave me good suggestions. You get 2 stars because of...
Read moreWe have ate at the Gallatin location for years. They have a variety of pizzas, as you would figure. It is a bit more expensive than the chain type pizzas, but it is a bit better, not extremely better. It does give you a place to sit down and eat pizza, which is nice. My favorite is the spaghetti with meat sauce. The meat sauce is very good. Most of their pasta dishes are very good. Their Baked Confusion is one of their choices, and everyone that gets it, thinks it is great. They have a decent selection of salads. They have a Tomato Vinegret that is the house dressing. They have some sandwiches also. I have only had the meatball, but there are probably 8 to choose from. They have Calzones, and I have found them to be pretty tasty. I get some marinara sauce to dip the excess bread in because it has a good bit of bread on the edges. We have had a couple of the appetizers. My favorite is the Pinwheels. They could be a meal on the right occasion. Again, I like to dip them in marinara sauce. There marinara sauce is...
