Remember when you were kid and there was that neighborhood spot that always had the most delicious goodies, a warm atmosphere, and friendly customers?
Yeah, that's this place, except you're an adult now and can enjoy the coffee, buy more than one pastry if you want, and can get work done on your laptop.
Slowhand is an amazing place. I own a business around the corner and I am there at least 3 times a week for coffee and treats for my pup Rudy. The staff is super friendly, the food is great, and the coffee is top notch.
But real quick about food. I own a gym and am kind of particular about my eating. When I want a pastry. I go there. When I don't want a pastry but am starving after a morning of coaching, they also have options for me -- the breakfast burrito is generous in it's size and even distribution of ingredients inside (none of this one bite and it's all hash browns BULL CRAP). The breakfast biscuit is also amazing with a hefty portion of egg and either bacon or sausage -- the biscuit??, amazing too.
Thanks to the Audry and the staff for taking such good care of Lebanon and offering an place that will leave an indelible and delicious mark on the memories of this generation...
Read moreBeing a native New Orleanian, I have been spoiled by delicious food my whole life. For years since moving here, we searched for some of that deliciousness in Lebanon. We finally found it when we went to Slow Hand bakehouse. I come here several times a week. Every time both the coffee and the pastries are absolutely delicious! I can honestly say I've never had anything from here that was not stellar. My favorite is the cream cheese danish. In any form or variety, this decadent pastry is top notch. Reminiscent of a buttery pretzel crust with an extra creamy unique sweet cream cheese with a hint of lemon. The combination is superb! I always get the red-eye coffee and it is exquisite. My daughter loves their chocolate milk which they prepare by hand when you order it. If you are looking for the best coffee or a mouth-watering pastry, look no further than Slow Hand bakehouse. With its cute aesthetic charm and decadent fare, you will not be disappointed and I promise you...
Read moreI’ll start by saying this place has loads of potential. The quality of the food and coffee was exceptional, the experience was not. There was no clear line in the restaurant leading to a lobby of confusion. They didn’t ask for names so people were taking others drinks and we didn’t know when our food was ready. My wife asked for a straw and was handed an open straw by the barista with bare hands. She asked if she could get one that hadn’t been touched, to which he laughed and scoffed at her. We brought our infant and there was not single high chair. We had to end up taking everything home. Not what I would hope for when I’m paying $40 for two people to have a nice breakfast out in a small town. When we did get back I found out that my burrito was ham and cheese. I was told it was sausage, would not have ordered a $13 ham and cheese burrito. Again the quality was great but unfortunately it was a terrible first impression. I hope they can fix a few things...
