Subway — Restaurant in Lebanon

The wait was extremely long, The order had been place online and had not even been started on after the Est. time. There were 2 employees, I get it. It appeared to me however there was no teamwork and they seemed be working independently of each other. They were however very Chatty Cathy’s with each other and the customers in front of me. Yea, customer service is great, but save the shenanigans for somewhere else if you can’t work & talk at the same time. Now we get to the main issue at hand, mine and my wife’s sandwiches. Mine had extra of what I didn’t ask for, didn’t seem to have that much more of what I paid to have extra of and it was sloppy. My wife’s sub was as she had asked for it. The tipping point of this whole review is the bread. The bread was stale, so stale. My wife had gotten the less stale bread between us. Not that it made her sandwich any better in the least bit. We ate the food. because from placing the order to waiting….and waiting more, we were very hungry and worn from the day. The length of time from placing the order online to the time the food was received was 40 min. Sure we all have to wait in lines. However, when you’ve waited so long and the food you get is so not on par with being the least bit tasteful. That is what will put the sourest taste in your mouth. Don’t like writing bad reviews However, this was not good. There were 2 women working. One woman was helping the 2 gentleman that were together. The second woman started to help me then left my sandwich to help the other woman. Just didn’t understand why. She should have helped before starting my sandwich. Then they had no provolone cheese, I asked for olive oil and she put more olives on my sandwich. Asked for olive oil again and she said they didn’t have any. I said, ‘ no olive oil?’ The other woman said yes they do. Then the soda machine only had a couple options. The men before me had to have the women get their drinks from the back. So did I. The women’s bathroom door does not lock. As I was washing my hands another woman walked in and said sorry. I told her they door does not lock. She said I know, she used to work here. I was looking to try the new subway location in town, but was disappointed in the overall experience. The employees had a rude and dismissive tone to their voice. Despite me being extra-friendly and patient, sensing the employees were in a bad mood, I wasn't greeted in a friendly or professional manner. I never even got as much as a smile. The food tasted fine, but was obviously sloppily prepared. I order the same thing every time I come to a subway and this time it was noticeably lacking the care I usually experience at a subway. I felt as though I was a huge burden to the employees here and walked away from my encounter with them with a negative feeling I don't often get at restaurants, especially not one this new.
