El Jaripeo 2 Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Lebanon

So here's the thing. This restaurant is actually fantastic. It has incredible food, and an incredible wait staff.

However, their menu is outdated. Like, so outdated that you can order something, and what you get may not feel like what you ordered, at all. On more than one occasion, dine-in and takeout, different items on the menu, etc. I've placed an order and gotten something that only mildly resembled what was described on the menu.

I don't want to be putting this review here. I don't want to feel like I can't eat at this restaurant anymore. I WANT to speak highly of a place I've been eating at for basically 30 years. But you can't have multiple items on your menu so wildly misrepresented. It breaks trust in your patrons, and makes them unsure of whether or not they can order something and know that they'll get what they're wanting out of that order. People would rather eat somewhere more reliable, regardless of actual food quality coming out of the kitchen.

Please, fix this if you see this review. Update the menu. In return I'll leave a glowing review, because I do truly love this place. It's such good food, and I want to keep...

Me and my friend came in around 8pm and the host who hosted us to our booth just found the nearest booth and just tossed our menus down on the table like he didnt care and then our waitress had a very bad attitude towards us and me and i didnt appreciate it,My chicken Cascadia wasnt what I antisapted and i told our waitress i DIDNT WANT EXTRA CHEESE and she charged me Extra cheese anyways UNHAPPY ABOUT THAT😡.But i will say on a postive note that the cashier gave me and my friend a 10%off discount for our waitress being disrespectful and not nice to us so that was a 🖒to the cashier.In all we wern't handled very well when we came in and they could of handled us alot better and more respectful than that

Rice and beans were cold. Rice had some flavor, beans had none. To much pineapple in the el pastor tacos, the salsa with chips was very bland no flavor or bite to it. Picos and salsa served with pastor was traditional and good, there was sweet but no other flavor in the pastor meat. That was my food, it also took waiter a little longer than it should have to see if we were ready to order. I usually order water and it changes the way you are served immediately. Service is lacking in the Lebanon restaurant area. The sad part is I give the beverage cost difference on top of my standard tip if I get good service. I haven’t been able to do that in this...
