Don't go to this place 25 minutes before closing, or maybe ever if this is normal customer service for them. We showed up around 8:35pm tonight, walked in and there is no signage anywhere to tell you what to do. We are from our of town so we took a seat, as there is no sign telling us not to. We sit, have several members of staff notice us (the bartender and black haired server were two of them), and no one bothered to approach us or ask us if we needed help. After 10 minutes or so I walk up to the bartender and asked if there is a server. He explains that you go up and self order, which is not explained anywhere that we saw. So I said, "Oh, we can just go up there and order. ". The bartender stated that normally, yes; but that the kitchen closes at 8:45pm. Guess what time it was now: 8:45pm. He said that I could go ask if they were still serving, guess he was too busy with the 3 people at the bar to do that himself. I declined and left. Do yourself a favor and go to the Broadway Barrel House instead, much better...
Read moreSo disappointing!! It's confusing when you walk in, it's not clear what you're supposed to do ... you have to order your food at a small window at the back of the restaurant and separately order/pay for your drinks at the bar. I ordered an iced tea and paid $3 for a Pure Leaf bottle which was disgusting (that's the kind of tea you get at gas stations). My husband ordered water and they sent him to spiggot on the other side of the restaurant. The water was room temperature, no ice. Our food came in a timely manner but they gave us plastic silverware which was so cheap we couldn't even cut our food with it because it kept bending. The food isn't necessarily cheap here ... you should at minimum get real silverware. Food was just meh. I really wanted to like this restaurant but unfortunately we will never...
Read moreBefore checking in at the Golden Lamb we checked out this local place. Me and my husband love local and beer so what better place to check out. Right across from the police station it didn’t take long to appreciate this fire station turned brewery. We got their flight; Maibock, Crimson Craig, Most Best, and Hucklebuddy. All of them I really enjoyed but loved the smoothness and flavor of the Most Best. We got some food to eat as well. Free bird Chicken and the wings. Wings were perfect and a good sandwich brought together by equally good fries, some of the best we’ve had! We liked the small selection, and the seating options. One of my favorite touches was the inclusion of the signs for children. It is so common to find children running around like it’s a daycare at other brewery’s… The thought is highly...
