KFC — Restaurant in Leesville

My wife and I used the drive through, due to this particular restaurant does not allow dine in with COVID going on, although everyone else is open. We ordered a simple bucket of chicken with the usual sides. We had to wait 20 minutes to receive our food from a restaurant that was not busy. How does a chicken fast food restaurant not have chicken ready? It’s not like they were busy and could not keep up, or were out of what we wanted they just did not have anything ready. With the wait I decided to use the restroom and of course that is not allowed at this fast food restaurant, however, they did have a dining room full of employees playing on their phones. I looked in to see them laughing at me, well now at least I know why there was not any food ready because it is hard to cook while playing on your phone and making fun of customers. I really enjoy KFC but I will not eat here again.

Well to update you after our wait they came out to tell us they have not started our food yet. They said that have some chicken we did not order ready and we could have it for the same price. This is not a bash on KFC because I really have had some great experiences with them and love their food. Friday night shortly after 9pm I ordered a 12 piece meal with mashed potatoes Cole slaw and potato wedges. Got to the window paid 37 dollars then was told. we are out of mashed potatoes ,Mac& cheese,tenders, and wedges but we can give you cookies. I told the cashier that I needed honey for the biscuits. she/he walks to the back only to come back to say they burned the biscuits and it would take to long to make so we'll give you cookies. I don't want 40 dollars in cookies. We get our food the cashier says we hooked you up and I drive 20 minutes home only to find 6 NASTY pieces of something and sides I didn't even ask for but I did have 12 COOKIES. I called and spoke to Dillion a manager and told him the situation and not once did he say he would fix it. I told him I was bringing the food back and wanted my money back I drove another 20 minutes to town Dillon never came to the window instead let someone else deal with it. The only person that was helpful was the order taker. The cashier was standing there looking at me like I just served she/he that garbage after I asked if there was a problem she/he walked to the back where everyone else was. WORST customer service experience I have EVER encountered. Not a kind soul in that place. They are rude as ever! I waited nearly 40 minutes for my food outside. Mind you I only had two things… and I was told my food would be brought to me. It wasn’t. So I called the store asking if they would bring my food out still because I had my children with me and did not want to leave them in the car. I was then told that I was lying (twice) about having my order and that I needed to come inside so the lady at the window could “recognize my face” and I angrily went in, and asked them if they recognized me enough for me to get my order and they were so incredibly rude. They ignored me, and said “anyway” and went on to serving other customers. Then sarcastically told me to have a wonderful day which they were met with a not so kind response from me. I am a very kind person, unless I have been pushed to the edge and today I was. I will never return to KFC. I was there for my kids! NOT for me. Leesville genuinely needs to do better.
