We were in line for 30 minutes. The service was super slow, obviously. The restaurant was EXTREMELY dirty. It was busy with customers in line and in the dining area... Every unoccupied table was full of dishes and food. It was insane. I asked 2 employees to clear the tables, at least the 2 we needed for our party of 9. The first employee, a girl at the counter, just gave me a look and made an "uhh" sound, and then never said anything. The second employee I asked to clear the table was really kind and said it was his job, but he was just finishing up his break, but he'd get to it. He was kind and happy, but he was on his own to clean the entire dining area and it was a huge mess.
They need a garbage area where customers can put their own plates, bowls, trays, and garbage. The employees should not have to bus the tables. It was ridiculous. We got there at 2:00, so it wasn't even the busy "lunch hour," but it felt like it, since it took 30 minutes to get through the line. A person next to me went and told the an employee at the front counter that their sandwich was incorrect (cold instead of hot like it was for the exact same sandwich when he got it last time), and the employee agreed it should've been hot and apologized to the customer, but didn't offer to replace it. Every other place I've eaten at would've offered to replace the food if it was incorrect!
At least the food was yummy. Small sandwich, but I think that's at every Zupas. The Chicken Chipotle salad was amazingly delicious!

There were two female employees in the salad/sandwich area - Employee #1 asks me what I want to order, I order a chipotle glazed pork salad and soup. She proceeds to serve the greens and hands the bowl to employee #2 to complete the salad (add the toppings etc.) as they’re doing this they were talking to each other and must have been a little bit distracted so employee #2 put the wrong toppings and sauce on the salad. She made an entirely different salad. I let her know this wasn’t the one I ordered, she acknowledged it and as she was saying she would remake it employee #1 calls out to her and says “look I found it!” While showing her something on her cell-phone. I continue down the line to order my soup, meanwhile im watching to see if they are making the correct salad for me - but they are not. They are both looking at the phone and having a conversation/laughing. This went on for about 5 minutes while i was just standing there waiting on the salad so I could pay for both items. At that point I decided I would go eat somewhere else since the employees here seemed to be more interested in being on their phones/socializing than actually serving customers.
I dont expect employees to be total robots and not talk to each other, socialize or even to not use their phones - but I do expect them to prioritize serving the customer first. Super unprofessional.

Read moreWent here to support my daughter‘s school.. Order online, with a pick up time at 5:49 PM. I arrived at 6:05 PM, but it was not ready. I asked a server who is dropping off food where online orders go. I gave the name of our order and asked if it was ready. She took a mental note and walked away. Five minutes later I asked the cashier, which required me to interrupt their normal workflow. She went in the back for a minute, and came back and started working again, but didn’t even look at me or state how long the wait would be or anything. Two other servers approached the rack for online orders. Neither of them looked at me or asked me for my name. At 6:25 PM the first girl I asked returned to put more online orders out for pick up. She didn’t even look at me or acknowledged that my order would be ready soon. At 6:30 PM somebody approached me and handed me my order. No apology, nothing! The order was 40 minutes late, with every minute spent in suspense, with no idea if they’re working on it, or what the hold up is, or even a simple apology.
On top of that, I went home to discover that they failed to give me the extra rolls and the dessert we ordered.
