Last night at about 8:30pm, I placed an online pick up order for a half classic turkey sandwich and a berry pecan chicken salad. About 10 minutes later I received a phone call from a nice girl explaining that they were out of turkey and could substitute chicken instead for the sandwich. I agreed that would be fine. She also explained they only had romaine lettuce left, no spinach. I accepted the romaine if she could make sure it was mostly the green leaves. She said that wouldn't be a problem at all.
When I came to the pick up window, I explained to the young man through the order speaker that I was picking up my order. He said he would check on it. After a very long period of time he came back and said to approach the 2nd window (there were no other cars there). When I approached the window, a woman (possibly the manager?) said they were out of turkey and couldn't make my sandwich. I explained I received the phone call earlier and confirmed chicken would be fine. She then said in an irritated tone that there is no chicken and no turkey. She offered beef or ham and then said there was no chicken for the salad either. She said she could refund my order or substitute something else. I asked her to make the salad without the chicken and refund the difference without the chicken and refund the amount for the sandwich.
When I got home and opened up the salad it was mostly full of the yellow bitter lettuce and very few berries. It was very disappointing not to mention the way I was treated by the last woman seeming to be the "manager".
This is completely unacceptable. The manager, at the very least, should have been apologetic. And she certainly should have made sure the order I received was properly made....maybe add in something or a full refund considering the lack of communication. I was wondering why someone called and was trying to accommodate, then no other phone call when they realized they weren't able to fulfill the order as promised and to be treated as if I was a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTHE BAD REVIEWS ARE RIGHT THIS IS THE WORST. People kept telling me kneaders was good so I wanted to try it out. It was terrible from service, food and cleanliness. I went in today ordered 2 cold sandwiches and 2 soups. IT TOOK 43 MINUTES!!! The sandwiches donāt need to be cooked and the soups so what took so long you ask? THE CASHIER DISNR HAMD THEM THE BREAD ITS A BAKERY??? Is there not bread where they make the sandwiches?? At first the cashier is telling me sorry there was a big order in front of you, fine ok no worries but then groups literally GROUPS of people after me got their food. Iām like dude what is going on cashiers is like oh I forgot to give them the bread. So youāre telling me the bakery that makes sandwiches and the people who make the sandwiches in the back donāt have access to grab the bread??? They didnāt care that they got a ticket and LITERALLY 40 min have passed?? While I was waiting I got to observe a worker with glasses and curly brown hair use the same rag to wipe down EVERYTHING then for some reason she goes into the the glass where the pastries are and touch brownies and cookies WITH NO GLOVES ON LITERALLY TOUCH FOOD TO MOVE IT FOR WHAT REASON I DONT KNOW DIRTY RAG AND ALL. Then she continues to hold a dirty rag everything while eating bread. Finally after a long wait time you would since it took forever they would be the best sandwiches ever right? Wrong they put so much sauce to cover the fact they donāt put any meat on. No im not being dramatic it was literally a liceās of shredded broken up turkey. $40 and 40 min wasted on crap sandwiches. I couldāve walked across the street to smiths bought everything for sandwiches make and eat them and still have time left to spare. So if itās your first time like me maybe avoid this kneaders and try a different location if you want. If you go here just be prepared to wait and have...
Ā Ā Ā Read more2023 Review UPDATED: This review is of our recent experience with a catering order valued at ~$400. First off, when picking up our catering order, the place was in complete disarray. Floor un-swept, empty boxes strewn about, an entire section of the restaurant filled with bread racks, folding tables, garbage cans, and other orders in waiting. Even though we had a set pickup window, we waited 10 minutes at the catering area before anyone stumbled out of the back room to help us. I do understand many places are short-staffed this time of year.
Then came our catering order. Despite what the picture showed online, the "Fruit & Berries" bowl ($50 for each bowl) did not have any blueberries or grapes leaving it looking a bit bland. At the store when we brought this to their attention, they did not do anything about it. We went and bought our own grapes and blueberries for $10 and added it ourselves. The sandwich platters we received were very skimpy. Picture a normal slice of cheese you would buy at the grocery store, then cut it into four pieces. That is about the size of cheese you get on each of the dollar roll sandwiches. One very thinly sliced piece of meat per sandwich. In the midst of our catered event I found one of my sandwiches didn't even have cheese on it. Very haphazard. Note, I didn't give one star, I tried to be fair but check your orders when you do catering. But even if you do find something wrong, don't expect them to fix it. They didn't for us.
