Sakura Sushi — Restaurant in Lehi

My husband and I had lunch at Sakura Sushi today, and we were absolutely charmed by the atmosphere—such a darling place! They’ve done an amazing job with the ambiance, making it a cozy and inviting spot to enjoy a meal.

The service was outstanding from start to finish, and the sushi? Hands down, the freshest I’ve had in Utah. We tried a few different rolls, starting with the Vegas Roll, which, while well-made, wasn’t my personal favorite simply because deep-fried rolls tend to be too heavy for me. The Super Spicy Roll lived up to its name with a great balance of heat and flavor, but the real star of the meal was the Citrus Roll. I’ve had similar rolls at other places, and the lemon always comes across as a bit bitter—but not here! Somehow, they’ve perfected the balance, bringing out a bright, slightly sweet lemon flavor that complements the fresh fish beautifully. I’ll be ordering this every time we come!

Beyond sushi, we also tried the Orange Chicken, and I was seriously impressed. At most places, the chicken is either dry, or the breading gets soggy, but Sakura nails it—crispy breading, juicy chicken, and a deliciously sweet sauce. I did add a tiny shake of soy sauce to balance the sweetness, and it was perfect.

Overall, we were beyond impressed with Sakura Sushi. The combination of fresh, flavorful food, excellent service, and a charming atmosphere makes this our new go-to sushi spot. Can’t wait...

I’m not sure why my card was ran for more money than I was given a ticket. It’s a few dollars more but it really rubs me the wrong way. There wasn’t an explanation as to why they gave me a ticket for one amount and then charged me more.

Next, I really dislike how the sushi was brought out in such lagged times. Some of the sushi was put on joint plates. Confusing. We didn’t get napkins for our whole table, not once was our water topped off. Kids weren’t even offered silverware.

The sushi was good, it’s just…off putting this experience. We waited forever for our check to be picked up which they said sorry for but then when I got it back it was a different amount.

I’m not sure that I would come back if this is how the experience is...

New Sushi restaurant in town, and I love it already! The atmosphere is very nice and relaxing, very beautiful decorations. Staff was friendly and patient. The food is amazing, tastes like top quality for fair price. I got the family Naruto roll and the rainbow roll. Both were very fresh and were satisfying. The family Naruto roll is wrapped in cucumber, I love how it adds to the taste of the roll. The rainbow roll is pretty and has multiple types of fish, so you get an exciting roll. Only criticism I had was they serve Wasabi and ginger on the same plate as your roll, I've always had it on a separate plate, but overall, everything was great! I'll definitely be...
