My daughter and I went in for lunch today. She ordered 2 sandwiches 1 for her one for me. I walked in and I waited for the sandwiches with my mask on my face. I waited and waited and waited and waited nearly almost 20 minutes went by and we were in a hurry .. I waved my daughter to come inside the store. I spoke to the gentleman that was making sandwiches (Gil) how much longer will it be? He responded you're next then proceeded to roll his eyes at me. Why bc I don't look like the predominant culture!? We waited patiently even though we were in a hurry. Three more sandwiches went by and still nothing. After seeing 3 sandwiches go by and "you were next" I then politely asked may I please have a refund. He said ya go to the register. I asked the couple in front if I may go ahead I just needed a refund. They said I could. I went to the register ( young thin man with a beard) he said you want a refund? I said yes please it's taking to long. Then Gil waved me over waved the receipt in my face saying " here here it says 12:10!" I said oh ok I didn't know. Looked at my daughter and she shrugged her shoulders. Then I went back in line for the refund. Told the same man at the register for a refund. At that time he rolled his eyes at me and mouthed the word "wow" I said nothing just stared at him. I didn't know I needed the card so I went and got my daughter's iPhone. I punched in the numbers the whole time he was shaking his head and rolling his eyes. I took a picture of the 800 number on the wall. I told him I was only taking a picture of the number not him. He just kept rolling his eyes at me. I couldn't go back on the phone to get the expiration date. I had to go back to my daughter and she went in did the rest. I felt extremely embarrassed and discriminated against bc of my strong Jewish accent. The entire resturant stared at me bc of how your employees responded and acted towards my wanting a refund. Read moreOrdered through door dash. Within 10 minutes I had two missed calls and voicemails (I was using the restroom) from firehouse saying they were out of Turkey (I ordered the Turkey bacon). I was a little disappointed but oh well I called back and had then replace it with roast beef. Thirty minutes later I received a call from door dash explaining that the driver was there but the sandwich wasn't done yet so it would be delayed. I thought that maybe door dash was dropping the ball so I called firehouse again just to confirm what I was hearing from for dash was correct. It was. The girl apologized for the delay I said no big deal. 30 minutes later I received another call from door dash explaining the driver was still waiting for the sandwich to be made, door dash apologized I explained it wasn't their fault....28 minutes later I received my sandwich... it was fresh. However it was missing the bacon.
I love firehouse... their sandwiches are awesome. ....but how is it even humanly possible to take 85 minutes to make a sandwich? I could have driven the 3.1 miles to and from the firehouse location 45 times in that amount of time. And when you have taken that long how do you still get the order wrong? I honestly feel that they just threw my order to the side and took care of everyone that came in before mine. The reality is I paid for my food at 7:01 PM the driver got there at 7:28 PM I received my food at 8:39 pm... how many people that got their sandwich before mine paid way after i did? Read moreOn June 30th, 2023 @ 5:45pm I went in with my family for an early dinner. It was not busy. We were created by the cutest girl who gave my children each a had a promptly took our order. Food was decently made. But when we went to get our drinks most of the drink options were empty and the cherry limeade was out! We go there for the cherry limeade. When we asked if they could refill it they looked at us like we were growing arms out of our heads and didn't say one word to us. Went back to our table and started to eat patiently waiting for them to refill. Once we were almost done with our food we noticed they still had not refilled. There has been a small rush so they could have easily forgotten. Once again we asked when things slowed down and no one responded to us AGAIN! just deer in the head lights looks from the staff. Once my children finished eating we asked for a third time. Again, only looks and no response.
Either they just didn't understand what we were asking or only one person knows how to refill the drink station since almost everything was out 🤦🏼♀️.
