Nando's Taco Shop — Restaurant in Lemon Grove

I went to eat at this place. However it is located next to an American Legion Post. Being a veteran of Iraq and a Legion Member of a different post I wanted to go in and say hello. Before I was done I was told that Nando's was going to have my truck towed.

The way I see things you can be an aid to veterans or you can be a hindrance. The owner and or manager is the latter. The Legion Post was not serving food at the time. So you can use that as an additional customer base if you are positive to them. The people at Nando's are not. They must dislike money because the Legion Post could be a great revenue generator. They obviously dislike veterans. It is my recommendation to not spend your hard earned cash at a place that dislikes...

We used to love this place, but they raised the prices and lowered the quality of the food and staff. Nando works most days and is the exception to the staff quality, but the new help he has hired is not as friendly as the old staff.

Even when this place was not so good, we would come here because of the convenient drive through, but even now we don't go here anymore. We'd rather go to Rosarito's Taco Shop on Lemon Grove Avenue, even if it involves having to park the car and wait for our food.

Update: We decided to try it again, and the quality is great again. Nando is working there again and everything has improved to the way it used to be.

I use to love this place specially breakfast burritos. Lately noticed when I order 2 or more same burritos 1 of them is decent portion the other one pretty much more tortilla , this happened 3 weeks in a row .I go every weekend , and the older guy with glasses is like cheap with salsas asking what salsa you like red or green I always ask for the two and looks like he gets disturbed. He also ask if I want any drinks after I say no looks like he gets mad . I feel bad because the older lady is always super nice and professional service is always good when she is there. To be honest don't know if will (brothers and i) be back , it sucks to check who is there...
