Sportsman Pub — Restaurant in Lemon Grove

Was ORIGINALLY disappointed because they didn't serve liquor. HOWEVER, they do have wine and 'sporty bombs', which were actually pretty tasty (shot of sake and cider). Otherwise, have domestics on draft plus a few IPA varieties (Elysian 'Spacedust' and Sculpin in bottle). The two pool tables are clean ($.75/game) and even. Although the place puts 'dive' in dive bar, the atmosphere was pretty cool! Good conversation with the other patrons there and the jukebox selection was a good variety. Bar got upset that I paid for beer with change ,after my 3rd beer ,she even gave me back 3 for bills and took my beer back after I walked away and was sitting at a table with Eddie , now new owner calls it hideaway ,they kept a special shirt I left there , and Everytime get bad service ,too bad I like to drink , Legends is live...

Stopped by today to my old watering hole.... Rooster was there.... Batmaid was wasted... waited 20 minutes for her to come from the back.... Took forever to get a beer... Said she was sick.... C'mon Mike.. send her home and get someone...
