First Chinese Express — Restaurant in Lemon Grove

Im typically an easy going person and super easy to please but, I threw up not even 20 min into eating there horrible food. So Me and my room mate Jasmin decided to grab some dinner tonight while we need some laundry. And this place was near by First Chinese Express here in lemon Grove. The food all tased microwaved and there was no stake in her salt and pepper steak, my kung pow tofu was burned and had no sauce, portions were tiny and there was at least two full onions in our food combined and we were just going to throw it out but then not 20 minutes in I started throwing up and Jasmine got really nauseous and this is all we ate today since breakfast. So we decided to go back and tell them in case they just maybe had something bad in the back and the lady got mad and started arguing with Jasmin, called us liers, and just being extremely unprofessional and rude. In the end she decided she was only going to refund us $12 out of the $21 we spent and we barely even touched the food. And the lady yelled at Jasmin to never come back. And it was really just a horrible experience. And I ended up spending $10 for me and Jasmine. To both get extremely sick and no food and get yelled at. So pretty much this place was horrible and we are both very dissapointed because we were really excited to try this place and we were let down and given food poisioning. Just do yourself a favor and never come here unless your looking to throw up your food not even...

Update: the food is just awful. Tasteless. It was like eating deep fried oxygen. I honestly hate wasting food, and I'll even eat bad food... but I have to say this was this very first take out I had a few bites of and threw it all away. What a shame. I guess I should have expected it due to the way I was treated when I picked it up.

The woman who runs this place is rude and completely out of line. Do not order here. I was being polite and trying to explain the issue and she kept cutting me off explaining I should call in instead of order online. Well, dont have a way to order online if you cant fulfill the order. Get a grip lady! You need to understand how businesses work. If you close at 7 due to covid, put that on your website. I really wanted a place to support locally since I just moved here, and was hoping this would be the one. She lost my business. It's a real shame because I love ordering locally. I really tried to give this place a chance even though my husband had a bad feeling about it. First of all the orange chicken is Not Chicken. I REPEAT THE ORANGE CHICKEN IS NOT CHICKEN!!!! And if it is somehow chicken they have managed to make it taste like a totally different kind of meat i have never had in my entire life. The house chow mein was crazy bland. I dont know how they are still in business. They had an A rating on the door. They must have bought that illegally or something. Again i am really disappointed as I love chinese food, this is the worst experience i have ever had. We literally had to throw out all the food after a few bites and ended up getting something else for dinner. Save your money please and go somewhere...
