Cinco Amigos — Restaurant in Lenoir City

If I could I would give this place 0 stars manger is very rude and no help order food to go so that I would have something to eat at work called 45min ahead of time order 2 fijita nachos supreme with everything got there 40-45 min later after being told it’d only be 20mins got there paid for my food and got stuck waiting and extra 25min when I asked the girl up front how much longer her response was “i don’t know just wait outside and I’ll come get you” when I asked her if it was possible to check because I was on my way to work she just ignored me and went on with wiping a menu finally got me food headed to work once I got there I realized they give me the wrong thing 1 fijta nachos and one chicken(only) nachos when I called to let them know the manager told me they changed me correct and they girl who took my order didn’t understand me but she clearly did my order ticket is still on the bag and the order is written correctly and changed correctly but I did not get the right food when I told him this his response was “we’ll then just bring it all back for a refund” he didn’t even try to fix the problem just went straight to being rude and...

I am a bit confused by a recent event I observed while eating at Cincos. A family came in with their 25 year old son who has Hodgkin's disease. They were staying at the hotel next door where a benefit was being held for him. They came in and ordered shots. Another gentleman asked the bartender for their tab as he was "touched" by the fact that this young man had been entering the military when he found out that he had this disease. The bartender said that he was not allowed to do that. Evidently, he went and talked to the owner and was told that it was a state law that he could not pick up their tab. I was appalled that this gentleman was not allowed to do something he felt compelled to do. I had never heard of this "so-called" law. I contacted a friend of mine who is a lawyer and was told there is no such law. I'm absolutely dumbfounded as to the reasoning behind denying this gentleman to pick up this family's tab....seems quite...

And the award for 'Grace Under Fire' goes to Cinco Amigos. After the Eclipse of 2017, this small town restaurant was inundated with miserable, overheated, stressed, vacationers that were sitting in traffic for 3 hours; we should know, we were some of those cranky travellers. On a whim to escape the hours of gridlock, we turned into this place, seeking respite from the torpor of 1/2 mile per hour driving. We were treated to an overheated, overtaxed wait staff struggling to deal with a restaurant filled with miserable customers. Yet, without fail, the staff from owner to bus-person, were friendly and on-point. The food was top notch, and the service even better. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough, from bone numbingly cold mixed drinks to positively the best ceviche I and my Latina wife have ever had.
