Where to begin... waitress was nice but extremely slow to service our table. Yes there were only two servers, but there was barely anyone in the restaurant even on a Saturday night. Our food finally came out about 30-40 minutes after our order was taken. We both got 6oz sirloins, ordered medium but they were more med-rare through most of the steaks in addition to an absurd amount of gristle and the parts that weren’t gristle might as well had been rubber. I could tell my mashed potatoes had been in the microwave and the zucchini tasted like it had been cooked in a cast iron that also had about 30 other things cooked in the same pan without being washed between what it was cooking. My boyfriends mac n cheese seemed okay-ish, if you liked the flavor of it, which we did not. It definitely didn’t taste like any kind of mac n cheese should. To top it off, we were thinking my boyfriend’s fries were pretty okay, though cold like everything else, but edible, we saw the hairs embedded into the fries. I wanted to puke. When running through everything with the waitress, I let her know that I know the food being cooked improperly was not her fault and she didn’t charge us for our meals, (we definitely still tipped her) she let us know that the chef had walked out about 10-15 minutes prior and their “manager” who wasn’t really a manager was the one cooking the food and that Ruby Tuesdays is in the process of going bankrupt. She seemed like she was about to cry she was so overwhelmed and you could just tell she didn’t seem to know what she was going to to if she no longer has a place to work. I feel bad for the staff, but serving food like this is completely unacceptable. Thankful to the staff for not charging us and making it as right as they could in a reactive way, but there should be more proactive measures to ensure this doesn’t happen, and sadly I don’t think it will. If you choose to still eat here, just know what you’re getting into. Make sure you still tip your servers. They aren’t the ones cooking the food and its not...
Read moreThis thing should allow negative stars honestly. For starters we arrive and sit for ten minutes before our waitress came to get our drink order. We ordered three adult beverages and waters. We waited another twenty minutes for these to arrive without the waters. We were not asked if we wanted an appetizer which we did. Thirty minutes later the appetizer comes and about another thirty after that comes our food. We had no silverware and no napkins the entire (if you can even call it) meal. I ordered the smash burger and specifically asked what comes on it. She told me the typical lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and Mayo. I asked for no Mayo when ordered. My burger comes back looking like a slider with only lettuce and cheese. I ask for my toppings on the side and they bring me a tomato with pickles (no onions) from the salad bar that looks nasty already and I didn't ask for blue cheese on my pickles (at least that's what I hope it was). Currently still waiting for those onions LOL as the waitress NEVER came back to check on us. My friends burger was completely raw inside. She also waited for toppings and ketchup which never came. We told the waitress and she took it back where it sat on the bar the entire time we were there. She told us she was going to get the manager to comp it and would be back with the check. About 20-25 minutes go by and still nothing. Mind you this waitress only has about three tables (6 total in the entire restaurant and the host is telling new customers a 30 minute wait). My friend, very fed up with this entire experience goes up to the bar and asks to pay. She grabs the manager and avoids all eye contact with my friend. The manager didn't even know about the raw burger so my friend had to once again explain the situation and pointed to the nasty "meal" they STILL had sitting on the bar. Overall if you have three hours to kill and are extremely patient and enjoy raw hamburger and being sick then you...
Read moreWe went last night October 10th around 8pm. We stopped for dinner during our long drive home and everything was just terrible. The bartender was quick to seat us which was great. But it took a long while, probably close to 10 minutes to get greeted. There were only two other tables and the other server was taking care of the other table so I dont see why the server or anyone took so long to greet is. . As someone sho has served myself for over 10 years, AND I've been a restaurant manager, that alone was reason enough for us to leave but we kept waiting because we were hungry. Then when she finally took our drink orders, once again it took far too long to get drinks at our table. The only other table this server was taking care of was right behind us. As someone who as served, I would expect that if you stopped and took care of one table you should make your rounds and check on your other tables too. But no, this server was as if she only took care of one table at a time. Wouldn't even look our direction when she walked by. Even when my husband needed a refill she OFFERED the refill and never brought it. What sent us to the edge is us being there an hour and when we FINALLY got our food it was tremendously bad. My catfish soggy and falling apart and not cooked all the way. My husbands philly was a disgrace. Barely lukewarm, the cheese looked like just a slice of kraft cheese not even melted, the portion was small the fries were terrible. It was embarrassing I wish I took a photo. Definitely NOT restaurant quality. I'm pregnant, cannot be eating food not cooked all the way through, and to see my husbands plate we just decided this stop was not worth it. The manager was understanding and didn't charge us for the food, but good grief, either this was just ine bad night or this location needs some shaping up. We dont live in the area but we definitely dont ever plan on...
