LongHorn Steakhouse — Restaurant in Leominster

We had a most pleasant trip to Longhorn. We arrived at 4:45 so it was very quiet. Tables are blocked off to comply with Covid restrictions. We did not order an app since the last few times we went out we were overly filled after the entrée. The waitress brought a small warm loaf of what appeared to be wheat of some sort. It comes on a cutting board, however cutting the soft bread with the steak knife provided was a challenge. I had the lamb chops and they were very good. Grilled to perfection with a nice brown demi glaze on top. Under the crown style presentation was very creamy scoop of mashed potatoes toppedwith sin wilted spinach that the flavors bounced well off. I was most happy with the entrée that left me comfortable not full. I failed to mention the chopped salad that preceded the entrée. It was an interesting array of romaine lettuce with diced cucumber and tomato atop. Dressing came on the side and we were immediately asked if we needed more dressing. The only down side was ribs of the romaine were included and mine had a slight rust to it. No onion. My wife had a burger with bacon, cheese, lettuce, and a special mayo on the side. A generous amount of crispy fries accompanied the burger. The taste was a very good beefy flavor and cooked to her specifications. Albeit the fries could have been more hot on arrival. We finished up splitting a large, wonderful apple pie of sorts. The warm pie, perhaps 5-6" diameter had a rich apple filling, the crust was smashed with a large scoop of vanilla bean ice cream atop and covered with a bourbon caramel sauce. Quite rich and sinful. Our waitress was attentive and quite friendly as well as efficient retrieving extra items immediately. However, it was yet to get busy. Most tables were full when we departed. We don't imbibe, so total tax and tip was $65. Very reasonable. The lamb being $23, the burger $13 and the apple pie I'm not sure as my wife...

I really hate leaving this review because longhorn is really one of our go to places for a quick,good meal when I don't feel like cooking and it is also one restaurant that my whole family agrees which never happens. LSS, I ordered three Ribeye steak dinners 2 we're to be cooked medium well with double mashed potatoes, the 3rd which was mine was ordered medium. My children's two steaks were well done and they had a black char on one side of the steak. When I opened it I was just like wow what is this. Anyway I ordered mine and it was heavy medium well. The steak have a touch of pink if that. Like I said we never have been to the leominster restaurant before but we frequent others in Central Mass. We took it back home to Worcester and we were starving granted the restaurant was not that busy but it was about 9:15 when we ordered and the restaurant closes at 10:00. There were several other cars in the curbside area and coming and going. I spend so much money in that restaurant and this was the first time excuse me while second time I've ever had an issue I'm so disappointed this was the worst yet. I don't even know if I should contact the restaurant or not because nothing will probably be done except they lose a very loyal value customer over this. I would like to take this time to Thank the Staff at Longhorns in Leominster Massachusetts!!! Yesterday (Jan. 6, 2021)around 2:15 pm, my Husband and I were seated had a very nice waitress, ordered our drinks, appetizers and meals, the waitress brought our drinks pronto with a loaf of bread, soon after she brought our appetizer when we started receiving phone calls from our business but could not connect for some reason in the restaurant then I received a text emergency please call so I told my husband to step out and call. Well it seems a vehicle had gone through the front of our business on Main St in Athol and hit 2 vehicles and a pedestrian while doing so. I immediately asked for our waitress and the bill, told them of our emergency and said I would pay the bill for all the food, they packed our appetizer and said just go, not to worry about a thing! I never expected this! This tells me the employees that we were working with are one GREAT bunch of people and should receive our full support at their business! We have always enjoyed going there everyone have always been pleasant and food great, we will continue supporting this business and spread the good word of this business!
