My wife and I have visited this store several times during our trips to the mall. Unlike the pushy salespeople at some of the other stores, the staff here is always friendly and approachable, offering assistance whenever needed without hovering.
We had been looking to replace our living room table with a round one, and this store’s showroom left a strong impression. They make excellent use of the space to display their products.
After taking photos of three tables we liked, we went home to compare them with options from other stores. Ultimately, we decided on a round table from Gardner Outlet Furniture. It has been a fantastic addition to our home, and our large Samoyed now has plenty of room to move around it, which he loves.
While I can’t recall the name of the salesperson who helped us, he and another associate were fantastic. They wrapped the table carefully in bubble wrap and loaded it into the back of my truck.
Service: 5/5 I appreciate a salesperson who’s helpful without being overly aggressive or constantly hovering.
Location: 5/5 I’m a sucker for nostalgia, and the showroom’s use of the old Macy’s building takes me back to Black Friday shopping with my mom as a kid.
Delivery: 5/5 The associates were happy to assist, carefully wrapping the table and placing it in my truck. I received better service here than at any of the surrounding stores.
Cleanliness: 5/5 The store is well-maintained, clean, and has great lighting.
Quality of Product: 4/5 My wife and I love the design of the table, and it seems very durable. There’s a minor scratch on one corner, but it’s barely noticeable. I’ll update this review if anything changes.
Price: 4/5 While it was a bit more expensive than some other options we found, I don’t mind spending a little extra on something I know I’ll enjoy.
Total: 4.7/5 (Excellent!...
Read moreHi, two reasons why I’m rating it a one star. I’ve bought a mattress in the past, and was told to wait two weeks, waited the two weeks and when I called I was told it was out of stock. Had to wait an entire month due to this. The other reason, I sent my daughter to look at furniture at your store, because she’s turning 18 soon and I want her to get an idea of what kind of furniture she likes. She told me when she walked into the store, her and her friend were both being looked at weirdly by the workers there. They were both looking at furniture peacefully and not disrupting the workplace. The security later comes up to them and tells them to leave and that they can’t be sitting on the furniture there. My daughter told the security guard that she sees other people sitting on furniture there and asks why she can’t do it. The security guard responds by saying “you guys are kids, you’re not gonna buy anything.” The security guard then followed my daughter out the entire way out of the store, which was so unnecessary and creepy. I know that you guys have a policy to do that but they aren’t stupid, didn’t like the part where they had to get followed all the way out of the store. My daughter is not a bad kid, gets good grades and behaves herself at school. If it’s a policy there maybe put a sign up in front of your store that says “no teenagers”. With this I will not be buying from the...
Read moreWent to look at a specific mattress that wasn't on the floor anywhere else. It was a very basic model and it ended up being tucked away as a twin size with the kids beds, so it was hard for my husband and I to decide if we liked it. Then we figured we'd look at the other mattresses they had, just to see what was available. It felt like we were followed the whole time, didn't get a chance to discuss alone or even sit on a mattress together to see what we thought without the employee being right there staring. It was very uncomfortable.
Oh, and we had our 2 year old with us - she babbled on about a bed she liked and I just "translated" for the employee. He then told her she could get the bed. So, I wasn't too happy about that - you don't tell a toddler they can have something when they can't, obviously.
So yeah, they had nice furniture, but the prices were a bit steep and our experience wasn't great. We ended up going to Mattress Firm and buying our mattress there literally as soon as we left the store. Better prices and the employees didn't follow us around like we were somehow going to stick a mattress into my purse...
