I have NEVER been treated so poorly at a restaurant. We used the app to place a mobile order for dine in. Once we arrived the order was still being processed. Once it was almost ready I was told there were no baked potatoes. I had ordered that and chili to go together. I was asked if I wanted to order something else and there was nothing else I wanted. I asked for a refund and the young woman spoke with her manager. He asked someone when potatoes would be ready. I am not sure he ever got an answer. I told the order taker, who was a kind employee at this location, that I didn't want to wait if it was more than 5 minutes. The manager was working the drive thru and not getting back with a clear answer. The order taker asked about a refund and she said to me you need to use the app. I brought my phone over and said now how do we do this. She didn't know. At that point I called to the manager and said would you please help her so we can do this? You are ignoring this situation. He said I don't know how to use the app. I said in a rather huffy voice, well what am I supposed to do? He then came over to the counter told me I was disrespecting him and to get out of his store. I said are you kidding me, YOU are not treating ME right. I want a refund. You need to get it on the app, look at your order, said the manager. I did and see no place to do that, nor would I expect that. Imagine the number of people who could just falsify this information. He took my credit card and said he wasn't supposed to do this but he would issue a credit on my card. We'll see if that really happens. This is a mind boggling experience. My husband worked as a manager at Wendy's just out of college. He was astounded how we were treated this evening based on his training. I was not asking for anything I didn't deserve or should expect. How about I can give you a gift card for $5 for your inconvenience? That would have possibly assured another visit to Wendy's. We will not return to ANY Wendy's again, given how we...
Read moreOn numerous occasions I have had issues with this Wendy's in particular. The employees are lazy, they never do the orders right, not even once. I have given this location more than enough chances and I'm still being treated like trash by this company. Without your customers Wendy's wouldn't even be here today, so I'm appalled they don't have more respect. Today was the last time I ever step foot in a Wendy's again. When I walked inside all of the employees were behind the counter texting, I walked up to the counter and ordered two Jr. Deluxe Cheese Burgers, and two large Frosties. The burgers were cold, and they didn't even have lettuce and tomato on them. I got the amount of a small Frostie in a large cup, they only filled the damn thing half way. When I called the manager to complain, I explained the situation and even informed her I had picture evidence. The lady gave me an annoyed attitude, and asked me if I wanted to have my meal replaced. I was appalled she even suggested that after what I just described to her. Do you honestly think I'd want another meal from you people after that? I told her no, I'd like a refund because I will never be eating at a Wendy's again. In an angry voice she asked when I would be coming in to get my money which I replied "In a few minutes". I arrived at the location and when I approached the counter the manager took my receipt and wouldn't even look me in the eye once, she was rude and uncourteous throughout the entire process. The incompetence and the attitude of this company is exactly why Wendy's has a horrible rating on every review site. The managers attitude was appalling especially because she was taking her anger out on the customer and not on the employees who screwed up the order and caused this entire fuss in the first place. Just shows how much respect Wendy's has for it's only source of income, it's...
Read moreWent through the drive through and they forgot part of my order. The line wrapped around the building and they had taken so long with my order I figured I would run inside real quick to get my missing food. I stood and waited 15-20 minutes. I did not have a mask with me as I had no intention of having to go inside. (I am not ill not have been exposed to anyone that I am aware of as I go out very little.) I was very conscious to maintain my distance from others. The whole time I was waiting I had to listen to a few of the staff members berating me very loudly among themselves for not being masked. The comments were very condescending and downright rude. (All the while a few of the other staff members were improperly wearing their masks and/or repeatedly touching their masks.) I kept my distance even at the counter from the employee and was told they would not serve me because I did not have a mask. (There was also a sign. However, I had been in the drive thru with no intention to even come inside at all. If they had been careful with my order in the first place, none of us would have been in this undesirable situation.) I tried explaining why I had come inside, and even told them if they had a mask to give me that I would take it! (Which they did not.) By that time I was so upset at how I was berated and treated that I was in tears trying to explain myself. The first guy refused to serve me. A gal came next and did listen to me and give me my missing food. But bottom line- have compassion. You have NO idea what someone else may be walking through and you are just as much of a problem with your cruelty as the person who you THINK to be the problem because of circumstances. Life is hard enough for all of us right now. You don’t know someone else’s story. This was very unprofessional and hurtful and I will not be giving this Wendy’s my...
