Dunkin' — Restaurant in Leonardtown

Was not impressed with anything starting with trying to order to having menu posted items not available and the touch screen (main ordering option) was filthy, and hard to navigate on top of not updated to what they offer, out of stock items and NO ADVANCE NOTIFICATION that you can only pay with card if using their main ordering system, so after alot of time trying to place order it was all a waste of my time because I only had cash! As well as they only have one device to take orders and it was VERY BUSY so all of the customers that were detained because of me not knowing that NI CASH WAS ACCEPTED and it being hard to navigate. So after placing my order with a human and being told that they were out of 2 of the items used to make my sandwich (the device didn't have any notice about this) then the drink option I wasn't also wasn't available any longer? So why was it an option on the device?So after placing order and there were 4 people ahead of me (some with just drink orders only) when I got in the pick up line my # was called immediately? I was shocked but also felt for all of the customers that had placed their orders well before mine, but it was only 1/2 of my order (hot sandwich) the drink wasn't ready yet? I had ordered mayo to be added to my sandwich so I decided to check my sandwich while waiting for coffee and there was no mayo on it and no packages in my bag, so I told the person working the pick up stand and she informed me that they didn't have mayo?? So why wasn't I informed of that when I placed my order with a human? A few minutes passed and the person that took my order appears with 4 packages of mayo? 3 of the 4 we're no good from the packages being on the edge of exploding! Then I had to wait approximately 8 mins for the other half of my order of a ice coffee? So with all of these issues I can definitely say that I won't be coming back to this location which is to bad because I am moving to Leonardtown this weekend! And DD is the ONLY fast food sandwich...

TLDR: Consistently not good. Unless you're looking for donuts, go to Social for a better experience.

Pros: It's a place close by that I can treat my kids with donuts. Despite the lines, it goes quick. The list ends there. Cons: The wait staff isn't necessarily rude they just don't seem to care. They don't look at or engage you as you're ordering. Not even a "How can I help you". So I'm left confused, is it my turn to order? And they seem perturbed to even be there. The line is always long. If you go inside there are 15 drinks stacked on the counter, they don't call out the order number, and you can never tell which is yours. The drink is rarely made properly, too much cream, not enough, half sweet tea half un-sweet is all sweet, etc. Hot chocolate for the kids: forget about it. It's not hot, it's scalding. Kids can't drink it for 20min. Maybe mom with her iron tongue can handle that heat but not the kiddos.

I very rarely write poor reviews. I usually chock it up to a one off poor experience. Maybe it's just an off day for the establishment etc. But I've hit this place a dozen times over the past 2yrs because it's close to home and they have donuts. I don't know if anywhere else within a 10min drive that has donuts. And in my experiences over the past couple years is that they are consistently not good. Doesn't matter time of day.

If you're looking for a legit good coffee, go just up the road to Social. It's a local spot and they have delicious coffee (just no donuts). If it's donuts you're after, sorry...

This place has sadly gone WAY down hill. The past 6 or so times I have been there, only ONE TIME they got my order correct. I also ask for no meat protein on my wake-up wrap, but i ask for & pay for an extra "half egg". Still comes out with only the one half of egg. Another time I got cheese in the wrap, that's it. Another time I got ALL BACON, nothing else. My drink is a whole other story... Med DeCaf Iced Coffee with nothing else. I'll end up with a cup full of ice so high that 3 sips and it's gone. Another time, they added sugar, not only sugar, but EXTRA sugar. It's like roulette when I place my order on what I'll actually receive. Then there's the one young lady who has the attitude. My friends and I have a running joke about this location on what/who we'll get. It's just pretty much sad at this point. It's a great location, just not like it was when it first opened. The best DD location is Charlotte Hall. They are kind, but business. They are stocked up and they read your order back to you.
