So after many years of being a repeat customer to this restaurant as it really does have the best food and the fact dogs are allowed is a huge plus as a trainer I use it to get my pups out for confidence boosting and socialization which is crucial to their development to be well rounded dogs. It was extremely sad to be enjoying dinner with friends which we usually always go to this restaurant after working together and we bring some of our dogs with us as well always leashed as required by law. To be stopped by an individual asking about my pup to whom I politely spoke with no problem about his dog as well answering questions he then asked about the dogs meeting in which it is not a safe practice to do so so I told him I don't allow that so no. He proceeded to bring his "service animal" into the complete other side of the dining area and let it off leash to explore which it approached my friends dog (our dogs are friendly we just do not support negligent owners disrespecting our animals space as not all animals get along) and was asked to get his dog which he became verbally threatening and cussed at all of us for asking him to put his dog on a leash and respect that they cannot be off leash. There were kids and a family behind us having to listen to this. I'm sorry but if that's your service dog it's a medical device you'd be a lot more careful to not let it potentially get hurt by letting it off leash around other animals you don't know. Spoke to the manager and proceeded to explain county and ADA laws which seemed to be brushed off as the aggressive individual did not get told to leave even after threatening physical harm to 3 individuals over having to keep his dog on a leash. Previous law enforcement officer here and really really sad to say I will not be returning to this restaurant unless they fix their rules and start protecting the people who are in the right. Could have watched the camera footage but chose not to I guess. It is not hard to look up county laws, state laws, and service animal rules and regulations. If I had a legit service animal with me I'd be even more upset about this incident because you could have cost me my service animal. Incidents like this is what ruins it for the rest of the respectful dog owners who think to ask before doing something like that and if your goal was to have the dog say hi to the people at a few tables walk it around on the leash. If I tell you no once to letting your dog come up to mine you need to listen not threaten to beat me and punch me. Attached below are the county and ADA laws for reference that can fully be...
Read moreI would really love to give them 5 stars but I just can’t. The food and drinks are really good. The problem is the wait times for your food and drinks. Also our server focused on the male at the table and kept his drinks refilled but the remaining 4 of us were not asked if we wanted refills or even just brought refills over like she did for the male at the table. The other problem there is not a host so it’s first come first seat yourself. There was a group walking in as another group walked out and they tried to take the table. We had to run after then and let them know that there are other people waiting for tables before them so they needed to go back to the door and wait their turn.
While you are waiting for a table because they do not have a true wait area the servers that have to walk outside to serve the people in the tent area have to walk by you. The servers are rude and make you feel as though you are in their way. With that being said since there is not a host and it’s seat yourself even when they are busy everyone will walk by you and ignore you. No one in that building that walked by us acknowledged that we were standing there waiting. Since this is a “bar” and people will sit there after they are done eating to enjoy more drinks and conversation it does not help that they are trying to make this as a “restaurant” without a host or more wait staff.
They do seem like they are expanding with the construction they have going on maybe it will...
Read moreOkay, this is a hard one. Good food, great beer selection (I've not had their cocktails so I can't comment on them). The best awful service you'll ever get at no fault of the wait staff. The staff themselves are wonderful, there's just not enough of them. Seriously every time I go here I have had to wait ~20 minutes for my beer, but to be fair when I do get it its still cold. Like they don't pour and wait, theres just too many people whenever I've gone.
This place suffers from being overly popular but they're expanding so hopefully they can accommodate better. There is always a long wait for every part of your experience (even before COVID). You have to wait to find a table (before COVID, I don't know now), you then have to wait to get your order in(20 minutes), then you have to wait for your drinks/food (obviously food takes longer). Maybe there's some confirmation bias on my side or something and maybe the wait isn't any longer than at any other busy restaurant but I have had 60 minute waits on my food before and I'm not exaggerating. I will say when I did get the food its really good.
If you want decent enough food that will definitely fill you up and pair nicely to any beer, and you're willing to wait for it this is a good stop. If you don't want to wait just order their to-go, there is no noticeable quality dip in their to-go... Plus if you want beer with your order you can...
