Good evening,
I am sorry to even be writing this. But you have lost a customer due to your policies and your general manager Lindsay. This evening I ordered a steak and cheese sandwich (around 5pm). I have not eaten all day. I am hungry. I pick up my order. Get 1 minute away from home. Receive a phone call from one of your employees that informed me that there might have been a "mix-up" and that I might have the wrong sandwich. I check, he's correct. I do have the wrong sandwich. So ask "Well what can we do?" He informs me that my only two options are I can have the sandwich remade and come back and get it. Or I can have it remade at a different time and come and get it at a later date. This is an inconvenience for me!! You guys messed up my order. Not me!!! Again, an inconvenience to ME. I have to come all the way back to get my correct sandwich, that I ordered and you can't even give it to me for free for the inconvenience? I spoke to Lindsay (general manager) and she informed me that there is no other option... I let her know that this would be my last time coming back if this is the policy. She did not seem to care At All that she was losing a loyal customer. When I showed up to pick up my sandwich, it was literally tossed into the window by her and given to me by another employee. I come from the restaurant world. I worked in restaurants for 15 years. And when you have an upset customer or a customer whose food was incorrect NORMALLY the manager will come out, Apologize and bring out the food themselves. That is Not what happened today. I thought the whole thing was extremely unprofessional.
And on a side note, I order steak and cheese sandwiches from you guys all the time. This was the worst made steak and cheese sandwich you guys have ever given me. There's hardly any lettuce. And the tomatoes are tiny. And looks like it was slapped...
Read moreI really wish that I could give a better review of Ledo's Pizza in Leonardtown, MD. However when you go to a place and the air conditioning never shuts off and you ask if it cannot be turned back and are told that the manager doesn't like to mess with the air conditioning. The best they can do is open a side door to let a little of the warm air in is pitiful. Mind you it is November and yes it was a little warm out that day & raining, but it didn't warrant that air conditioning to be down to 60°, although it did feel colder than that in the restaurant. Another guest also chimed in and asked and was told the same thing. My husband wanted to get up and leave but I felt bad that we had sat at the table and the waitress had brought us something to drink. So we ordered and the longer we sat there the colder we were and we had to sit with our jackets on so we decided to get our pizza to go. So we took our Pizza and went home and ate it in the comfort and warmth of our home! The pizza was good although by the time we got home the crust was a little soggy because Ledo's Pizza is a thin crust pizza and appears to soak up all the juice, etc. So I wish I could give a better review but unfortunately I can't. I feel sorry for the waitress that waited on us and was standing there in two shirts so that she could stay warm because her boss wouldn't cut the air back so it wasn't so cold in there. So if you go to Ledo's in Leonardtown, MD please make sure you have a warm coat with you cuz a jacket will not do. And perhaps the management in Leonardtown will take note of this review and decide to do something about their air...
Read moreSomething must have changed. I've been eating Ledo for more than 30 years. I recently moved from California back to the east coast. Over the years I've gotten Ledo every single trip, and usually 2 or 3 times (or even more, haha) each trip, which was usually a week. So yes, I LOVE Ledo. This specific time something was off. First, the staff was pretty friendly. The cheesey garlic bread was out of this world! The boneless wings were not great. I assume they were frozen, but even if they weren't, they were very average. About the pizza, it tasted pretty good fresh. The dough was slightly undercooked, but the toppings were great and plentiful. My big issue is that I think they've changed the cheese. When we heated up the leftovers it was just terrible. I used the oven to reheat the pizza, which is the best method. EVERYTHING was tasteless. I've had tons of leftovers over the years and this was a first. I think it exposed a low quality cheese, almost like plastic. I've literally vacuum sealed pizzas and brought them to California. I guess I'm surprised given that this pizza isn't cheap. It's not pizza hut or little Caesars prices. This bums me out because I usually buy 2 larges, one to eat now and one for leftovers. Can't do...
