I've never in my life experienced a worse Dominos than this one. Absolutely atrocious. In fact, this location has been so bad so consistently that I actually, for the first time in my life, have taken the time to write a review on Google. The first time I called for a delivery,it took an Hour and 15 minutes to arrive and when it came, they forgot my drinks, and a topping on my pizza. Also,I ordered jalapeños on my pie and I literally got 5 jalapeños on a large pie. FIVE. The 2nd time,I called in for a pickup thinking I would avoid slow delivery. Wow,was I wrong. I called in my order 20 minutes beforehand and when I arrived, I STILL had to wait 30 more minutes!! 50 minutes for 2 pies. Unacceptable. The managers response was "Its Sunday. We're busy"I'm sorry, every Dominos is busy on Sunday. So are most other pizzerias on Sunday. Deal with it. Being busy is no excuse for ineptitude & inefficiency. Hire more staff or manage more efficiently. The final straw was last Sunday night. I ordered ONE large pie at 8:20 pm. An hour and 20 minutes go by. I understand it may take 45 minutes when busy, but this is ridiculous. I call and ask what the status is and I'm told "the driver is still out on the road. It's busy" Ok,no problem.ANOTHER HOUR goes by. Now it's been TWO HOURS AND TWENTY MINUTES. I don't even want the food anymore. No way I'd ever give them my money at this point. I'd rather starve. I haven't called at this point because I'm actually amazed that this type of horrible service is possible in 2017. It's pizza delivery, not rocket science. I'm now curious to see what will happen, whether or not they will even show up. Finally, I get a phone call asking "did you order Dominoes??" YES!! 2 hours ago!! I ask, "Where are you??!" He says he's outside. .....I look out my window. There's no one there. After 2 AND A HALF HOURS,you're not even at the right address. Pathetic. A joke. I say to the driver "you're not even here! I laugh and tell him that I don't want the food anymore " This place is trash from the owner to management to staff to the drivers. I'm sorry,I'm not into bashing people and I know people are out there working hard, but I and other customers work hard for our money too and there are standards for service that paying customers are supposed to receive and this Dominos is far below even the lowest of standards. It's not once. Not twice. 3 times. Out of 3 visits.I blame the owner honestly. It all starts there. If the owner had pride in his business,or even just cared about making money,he or she would actually take care in hiring adequate, capable employees . And that manager would hire able, competent staff who are trained CORRECTLY. It all starts from the top down. I haven't exaggerated or embellished anything in this review. I've lived in 3 boroughs in NY and have been ordering from Dominos for 20 years using 5 different locations. This is UNDENIABLY,UNARGUABLY THE WORST DOMINOS I've ever had the displeasure of ordering from. You will never get another dollar from me. I'll eat Pizza Hut or even Papa Johns. And if that's not available,I meant it when I said I'd...
Read moreI recently had the unfortunate experience of encountering Cornelius, the general manager at Domino's, and I must say, it was nothing short of a disaster. From the moment I placed my order until the lukewarm, poorly made pizza arrived at my doorstep, Cornelius managed to exemplify everything that's wrong with a so-called "leader."
First and foremost, customer service seemed to be an alien concept to Cornelius. He handled my order with sheer indifference, and it was evident that he had no interest in making sure I had a satisfactory experience. When I reached out to inquire about the status of my order, his dismissive attitude was disheartening. It felt like he couldn't care less about my concerns as a paying customer.
As a supposed "general manager," Cornelius should have been leading by example, but instead, he set the standard for incompetence. My order was riddled with mistakes, and it was clear that there was no quality control under his watch. The pizza was undercooked, the toppings were haphazardly placed, and it lacked the taste and quality I expected from Domino's.
Beyond the subpar food, the overall operation of the store seemed to be in disarray. The staff appeared unmotivated, and it was easy to see why when the manager himself seemed uninterested in the success of the team. Cornelius' leadership style was abrasive, and he openly berated employees in front of customers, creating an uncomfortable and unprofessional atmosphere.
What was even more disappointing was Cornelius' inability to handle customer complaints. When I tried to express my dissatisfaction with the order, he brushed me off and made no effort to rectify the situation. A competent manager would have taken the opportunity to turn things around and salvage the customer relationship, but Cornelius seemed content with letting his customers down.
To add insult to injury, the hygiene and cleanliness of the store were questionable at best. Crumbs and debris littered the floors, and the overall appearance of the store was far from inviting. It was clear that Cornelius had no regard for the image of the establishment or the satisfaction of the customers.
In conclusion, my encounter with Cornelius, the general manager at Domino's, was a complete letdown. His lack of customer service, poor leadership skills, disregard for quality, and inability to address customer concerns were all contributing factors to my negative experience. I strongly urge others to avoid ordering from Domino's under his management if they want to spare themselves from disappointment and...
Read moreMy encounter with Manager Cornelia left me with a bitter taste in my mouth and a strong desire to avoid any future interactions with her. From the moment I had to deal with her, it was clear that she lacked the essential qualities of a competent and caring manager.
One of the most striking issues with Cornelia was her complete lack of communication skills. She rarely provided clear instructions, leaving the team confused and frustrated. When asked for clarification, she seemed annoyed and unwilling to take the time to address our concerns properly. This lack of effective communication led to a myriad of misunderstandings and a significant decrease in productivity.
Furthermore, Cornelia demonstrated a complete lack of empathy and understanding towards her employees. She appeared cold and indifferent to the challenges we faced, displaying no interest in our well-being or professional development. Instead of fostering a supportive work environment, she created an atmosphere of fear and intimidation, making it difficult for team members to approach her with any problems or suggestions.
Her management style was overly authoritative, ruling through fear rather than respect. Cornelia had no interest in collaborative decision-making, shutting down any dissenting opinions and disregarding valuable input from team members. This not only stifled creativity but also resulted in projects and initiatives that lacked innovation and efficiency.
Cornelia's lack of accountability was another significant issue. She was quick to pass the blame onto others when things went wrong, never taking responsibility for her own mistakes or poor decisions. This not only undermined her credibility as a leader but also created a toxic environment where team members felt unsupported and undervalued.
In addition to her poor management skills, Cornelia lacked basic organization and time management abilities. Meetings were frequently postponed or canceled at the last minute, and deadlines were consistently missed, leaving the team scrambling to catch up.
Overall, my experience with Manager Cornelia was incredibly disappointing. Her ineffective communication, lack of empathy, and authoritarian leadership style made working under her incredibly challenging and demotivating. I can only hope that the organization recognizes the negative impact she has on her team and takes steps to address these glaring issues. Until then, I would strongly advise others to steer clear of working under...
