My wife and I stopped in here for the first time the other evening after our grandson's football game. We were quickly seated and it was no time before the young lady came out to get our drink and appetizer orders. The drinks came soon and the appetizer not long after. My wife had the Big Timber Blonde Ale and I had the Devil's Backbone Lager. The selection of craft beers on draft is very good. Our dozen wings were divided into six each of different flavors to our liking. She had the coconut and I had the sweet chili... both served with a gorgonzola dipping sauce that was sort of like blue cheese but creamier and more mild and buttery... delicious. We both had a small chicken pesto salad which was really a good sized portion. It came with gorgonzola as did the wings. We were very pleased with the whole experience. The food and service was top notch. Our server, Rachael, deserves a gold star for the care given to us. She was outstanding! We will most certainly stop by Hill and Holler next time we're in the area and I heartily recommend you do likewise.

Hill and Holler has so much to offer!😎First and foremost, the environment is so laidback, not stuffy at all, super friendly, and has awesome live music. The feisty fried shrimp are amazeballs!🤩You’ll wish you’d ordered the larger size, seriously! I enjoyed the brick oven Margherita pizza and added shrimp for a reasonable price.🍕🍤My husband ordered the Nashville Chicken pizza and he thought it was good. However, his pizza may have been a little spicer than he anticipated.🌶👀🤷‍♀️Needless to say, he ate several pieces of the Margherita pizza too. On the way out, my hubby ordered a cup of the daily soup, which was Cabbage Roll, to go. He LOVED the soup so much! Overall, we had an excellent dining experience! The servers were so attentive, the food was incredible and prepared in a timely fashion, despite being so crowded that night. Hill and Holler’s environment was casual and relaxing — especially after a long day at work. We highly recommend this restaurant, whether you’re local or just passing through! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Tony and I went to have lunch in Lewisburg, WV. It was our very first time in the area and it is so very beautiful. There are so many historically older homes from early 1800's. I love all the older store fronts being used for current businesses We decided to eat at Hill and Holler. We found them and parked. It is a shared parking lot and it was difficult to determine which was the correct restaurant. But the parking is free, tight but free. Inside Large, Airy and modern. Love the fireplace in the back. Wish we sat there!!! We ordered our drinks, Tony bottle Budweiser and I had a coca cola with lime and cherries. We chose 1/2 dozen Smoked Buffalo Wings with Ranch and the Meatballs with 4 Blended Melted Cheese w Marinara topped with fresh Basil and garlic toast...But superb The service was nice. She could have asked us about drink refills and I had to ask twice for a refill to go but she was busy cleaning. With taxes, $5 tip the total was $30. Food was awesome, Highly recommend.

June 2022 in Lewisburg on business and excited to give Hill & Holler a try. When we arrived, it wasn't very busy so we took advantage of great weather to eat on the patio. Service seemed a bit slow but no problems initially. We ordered a small caesar salad, half order of wings and a pizza with chicken added. Our pizza came out first after half an hour or so, but without the chicken. Our waiter assured us the salad and wings were on their way. 45 minutes later, after asking again... still no salad or wings. Looking around us, other tables appeared to have similar issues. The waiter was practically non-existent, ignoring us as he went by and avoiding eye contact. We finally got wings (a dozen in place of the half dozen, which was nice) but still no salad. At that point it had been well over 90 minutes, we told them to forget the salad and please make sure the pizza was correct on the check since it did not come out with the meat added. In the middle this, the people at the table next to us started a conversation, having some of the same issues. The service was so bad, they were actually laughing and counting how many times the waiter walked by ignoring requests for refills, avoiding eye contact, etc. We asked a different waiter for a refill and received a very short 'tell your waiter'... at which point we just got up and went to the bar for refills. We decided to chalk this up to a bad experience and not let it ruin our day. We noted no less than 5 employees serving tables outside, these employees were also waiting on inside tables. A huge pile of dirty dishes sat on large high top nearby. Our check came out completely wrong with the salad and add on meat still on the check. We asked the waiter to correct it, 17 minutes later... yes, we timed it for fun... he still hadn't returned. So, one of our party went in to find a manager... no luck. We ended up just correcting the bill and leaving cash on the table. The good: The food that did come out was delicious even though nothing about the order was correct. The bad: None of the food came out as ordered, the service was the worst I've ever experienced, and it took well over 2 hours to get pizza and wings. No clue what ever happened to that salad. Based on this experience, I recommend you skip Hill & Holler and try one of the other superb restaurants...

I had heard that Hill and Holler was a fantastic experience. Unfortunately that was not my experience.

Not only did we receive the wrong food it took so long to get, I will say the sesame soy wings were the best part of the lunch. The calzone we ordered a spinach and feta with added ingredients came out as something else off the menu, they did offer to fix this or take it off the bill. I told them not to worry about it and we would just try it. We were on a bit of a schedule and needed to hurry.

The food

Garlic wings, meh.... I didn't thing the garlic was good. It did not combine well in my opinion with the smoked wings.

Sesame Soy wings were amazing and if I was ever willing to go back I would order them again.

The wrong calzone was disappointing. The stuffing was minimal and you couldn't really enjoy the flavor around the breading the sauce was bland.

We received the bill, it was 39 bucks I gave my card and the waitress charged us for another tables ticket. 50 bucks.........

We attempt to get it fixed after waiting another ten minutes. I finally just said give me my card just keep the 11 buck for a tip... I then left, we were already running late. As my wife and I are getting in to the car the manager comes out claiming we were dine and dashing and that he was calling the cops...... Even took a photo of our license plate. We went back inside and had to pay for our ticket too on top of the one the billed to us erroneously. I now have a charge for both meals on my act. I won't get a refund until sometime next week thanks to their idiocy and the holiday. Not only was the service and food bad, but then they treated my wife and I like criminals for their incompence.

I wouldn't have bothered with a review prior to the way they treated my wife and I over their own mistakes.

I'm a big believer in supporting local but I will never support them after the way they treated us.

To top that all off they made us so late that we had to cancel our appointment.

Thanks for a s* experience...

I was so excited to come here. I've heard. I bought it and was in the area when I got to the restaurant. It was up 15 after 11 and the doors were closed and locked on a Saturday. So I pulled up the Google listing, and it said they were supposed to be open. I called the restaurant and they said they were open, and I told them their doors were laughed. So they opened the doors and I came in talk to uh the host and some of the servers and uh uh got an idea about their menu, I told them that I had gone to italy last year and took a day would fire pizza making training how excited I was to try their pizza.

I used to talk to a manager to see if maybe they would consider adding July to to the menu and to, uh, still explain that nowhere on the signage. Does it say wood fire Pizza oven? Uh, uh, so the gentleman that came over, Charlie was less than pleasant and seemed very uh. Unfriendly. I wanted to explain to him that my Pizza. It was good and I asked him to have a seat because I didn't want him to stand over me. While I had this conversation, he refused to sit with me. So, um is so additionally. The Pizza saucewas cold when it came to my table. So I explained that to him, and he just seemed very argumentative, anything that I wanted to chat with him about. He took exception to and was aggressive in his Responses in his posture. Almost to the point of being hostile, so I think they have great potential, not sure what's going on with the management, or why they didn't unlock the door today. We'll see I did ask for the owner's name and asked the manager if he could write that down for me and he told me no, that he...
