Dickey's Barbecue Pit — Restaurant in Lewisville

This location gives dickeys a bad name. My wife went in for a family size serving for green beans side for family night dinner. First they switched to paper bag which leaked in our car. But got home and when the juice was drained the pan was 90% juice! It was a serving size for 2! Called to see if we can get more for the 30$ family size purchase. yes 30$ for green beans! See pic for details. But went in after the phone call since he said no extra beans but will refund. But didn't tell me I had to bring back the beans! He started to be rude after I said I just want refund and showed me the "use to be sizes" even tho I live down the street and been in many times before ownership changed. I asked for owner/franchise contact but he declared he is all listed. At the end we ended up leaving to prevent further argument rising. Now my wife and family is sad we can't really enjoy our green beans with our meal we loved their green beans. But this is our last time going to this location. I will go the extra miles to the flowermound location for the better service. But now everytime I hear dickeys I will think about this poor customer service interaction. DO NOT SUPPORT...

This is ridiculous. I am tired of coming to this place to get horrible, dry, week old food and get treated so poorly i used to come to this exact place all the time but it seems like they got new workers and everything went down hill . I got the Mac and cheese brisket and fries and the meat was dry and cut weird the Mac and cheese was dry and flavorless and the fry’s I watched the man cook in a fryer that was filthy and looked like the oil had never been cleaned once .not only was there line filthy so we’re the tables and bathroom it literally looks like no one cleans which is disgusting. the guy who was serving me was very rude and disrespectful he messed up my order like 5 times I had to keep correcting him and when I did he would roll his eyes and mumble something under his breath.the way he acted was not professional at all and I’m disappointed in this restaurant. I don’t have any idea why someone would want to come here order food and eat it because this place is horrible I will not be spending my money...

Edit 1/20/19: I received a message from the new management at this Dickey’s to come and try them again. We did today and much had improved but still a little work to do. The service was much improved. My wife said the turkey and macaroni & cheese were better than the flower Mound location. The baked potatoes weren’t ready when we came in and the ice cream machine was broken so that’s twice we didn’t get ice cream. However, we were offered cookies as a consolation so that shows they care about their customers. I sincerely hope they keep improving.

Original review: There are two people working on Mother’s Day. The ice cream machine wasn’t turned on. No real silverware. The meat is weighed on the plate. Regular bbq sauce was nearly empty.
