Rusty Beagle — Restaurant in Lewisville

I am an UberEats driver, and had a delivery from this location. When I walked in, one of the waitresses informed me that they were running a bit behind and it would be about ten minutes before my delivery was up. I decided to wait for the food to be ready and sat down. During that time, a woman in a blue shirt (I am assuming a manager, by the way she snapped at the waitresses) told them to turn off the Uber device while me and another driver were waiting. After the ten minutes one of the waitresses confirmed the order and came out with it, ready to bag up. Before she could do so, however, the manager came by and snapped at her to leave it and take care of a table that wanted water. She also snapped at another waitress that tried to finish preparing my delivery stating "those are Uber drivers, I don't care about them. They can wait."

At this point I cancelled the order and left.

Whoever this manager is, you need to realize that we drivers are not your employees, paid to sit and wait on your whims. We are third party contractors, and do you a service.

If you are "too busy" to let one of your waitresses take ten seconds to bag an order and hand it off to a driver, then you do not need to be using a delivery service at all.

Delicious and filling! The service goes above the food industry standards. Nikki was our waitress and she has such a positive attitude. She made us feel at home. I asked for a diablo burger with jalapenos and I was asked if I wanted fresh or pickled! Fresh please! Noone ever asks that question, and they were actually spicy. The burger was massive and was just as delicious as Monk's burgers in downtown Wisconsin Dells! I'm not kidding. Their sweet potatoe fries were sweet! They have large portions so expect to leave with a doggie bag or wabble out of there. The manager Christi came and checked on us multiple times. You can really tell that she cares about the restaurant and her guests. She also has a great attitude and made us feel at home as well. She made us laugh and wanted to make sure everything was perfect for us. It was Christi. Thank you. I am impressed with the food, prices and outstanding service. This place is a hit. I wish I would have found it when we first moved here. We will definitely be back again, maybe tonight! Went into the Rusty Beagle on St Patrick's day. At that point later in the day and not at mealtime, the bar and restaurant were not that busy. I think the restaurant only had 1 or 2 tables with people, the rest was empty. We sat on the patio and didn't get a server for quite a while. When she came, we ordered drinks and waters, and a towel for the dirty table. The drinks were really slow in coming, she didn't bring the waters, and didn't bring the towel. We had to ask a few other times for the waters and wiping down the table. Finally that was done, and our food arrived. The corned beef was ice cold. I asked the server if they microwave the food or something. She said that you do. Microwaved corned beef? That is pretty disgusting, and corned beef shouldn't be heated in a microwave. She brought the second plate of microwaved corned beef, and it was hot, but definitely rubbery and microwaved. I ate some of the mashed potatoes and left.
