I had never been to this place and stopped by for a beer and a bite.
There were not a lot of cars in the parking lot. Outside looked nice and clean.
Walked in, and the location was very nice and inviting. You could tell that it caters to regulars. There were a lot of them sitting at the bar, and most of the dining tables were empty, walked up to a tabletop, and was greeted by a female server immediately. Cudos on the prompt service. I asked her what was good, and she said everything was good, but the wings were phenomenal. Wanted something that I hadn't had. She said the nachos were pretty good, and I ordered chicken nachos. Me thinking it was like standard nachos. You know the chips with cheese and toppings on them. Nope, that was def not it..
So it took a few minutes for the nachos to come out, and the bartender, I think, brought the dish out. And on first glance kinda disappointed. I forgot to take pictures also! Smh, sorry! Anyway, they brought me a dish that had about 6 mini tostadas with cheese, beans, and about 3 mayb 4 chicken mini pieces on it! Man, I wish I had remembered to take a photo. I would have given it more justice so you could get the full effect. The flavor was decent, but they barely put any sour cream, no Pico, and a little bit of lettuce. The sour cream wasn't even enough to use on all the 6 tostadas smh. I did see someone else order the wings and instantly regretted the nachos damn they looked good. Finished off my nachos and paid the tab. Now to rate.
-Location 6 outa 10 very clean and nice also has a nice patio Service 6 outa 10 server was friendly and helpful -Nachos 2 outa 10 nothing special about them -Beer 4 outa 10 mug was nice and cold it's beer unless it's skunked you can't mess it upâ
Probability of me coming back 50/50. Might come back for the wings. Also worth noting that the server said they are rolling out a new menu in a few weeks or maybe days, and it might be why my experience was so so...
Read moreWhat a hidden gem. I gave it 4 stars for food ânot because the food wasnât great (it is), but because Iâm a fat boy with a bottomless pit for a stomach and I want bigger portions. Feed me like itâs my last meal, please and thank you.
At first glance, I thought this was a biker bar and almost turned aroundâuntil I caught a whiff of the food and heard someone singing Whitney Houston like their rent depended on it. I walked in and never looked back.
The staff? Top-notch. They remembered my order even after I hadnât been in for months. Meanwhile, I forget my passwords every day, so clearly theyâre wizards. Also, the staff is attractive enough to be in a CW drama, and somehow they still manage to hustle while every table is trying to flirt with them.
The crowd is WILDâin the best way possible. One minute you're next to a group of retired regulars, the next itâs college kids, then a table of tech bros, and then someone who looks like they wandered out of a Marvel casting call. Itâs like karaoke night at Epcot meets a Quentin Tarantino movie.
Seriously, if you want an unpredictable, hilarious, and surprisingly wholesome night out with good food and better stories, go here. Bring your friends. Or donât. Youâll probably...
Read more10000% percent recommend The Porch to the local community and to those that want to venture out and explore a great family feel like restaurant/bar that is kid and pet friendly! It had been some time that I had not visited but since I love crawfish and they have a killer special for AYCE Fri-Sun (until supplies last), I took my happy self there on one fine Saturday to check it out and had the pleasure of meeting Olivia âLivâ and Ashlee who were rockstars that day and took care of the entire bar by themselves when I honestly felt there were 100 plus people both inside and outside! Between them, the crawfish and the awesome peeps I have met along the way is why I started to frequent The Porch once again as they have made me feel like part of the family! Ask for Liv or Ashlee and the first drink is on Jay! Just drop the name and they will know! Awesome job señoritas and keep...
