Establishment was a little busy but moved quickly and was kept clean. Bathrooms were clean too which was awesome. Staff could be a little more inviting. Great look and feel indoor and outdoor. Food is okay. It's more Cali-Mex food. My two cons about this place were the boracho beans that tasted like they had gone sour and the lady we gave them to. First off, we have never been there so it took awhile to look over their extensive menu. Lots of cool options, so that was a plus. We ordered the enchiladas with red sauce. .. but not sure where the red sauce was as our enchiladas had a green sauce on top. So we kept them as to not look silly returning what we had in fact ordered. The boracho beans looked great, but the taste was horrible. Not sure if it was the beer of choice added to the beans that gave it the sour taste or whether the beans had in fact gone bad. As to not anger the Mexican gods with the wrath of Montezuma's return, we decided not to eat the beans and request black beans. We took them to the person at the front who was offended that we insulted her beans. She claimed that the beans were made fresh every morning. I told her that they tasted sour after one spoon and would like the black beans if possible. She brought them out and they were not sour but not great either. Other than that, the experience was great. I am not a Cali-Mex food lover, but am curious to go back for National Taco Day on October 4th for dollar tacos. The brisket tacos are calling my name and so are a few others. Why not use that opportunity to find out if I really like this place or not.
Oh and a huge shout-out to the owners for the purple heart recipient parking!! Love a place that supports...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāll try to be brief. Iāve been in sales for over 30 years, 10 of which as Chief Sales Officer for the #1 Van Lines in the Industry. Iāve been responsible for hundreds of salespeople. Iāve also been responsible for just a few real people with heart. Heart earns more respect, happiness, and success than a thousand salespeople. Chase is one of three that Iāve come across. I donāt look for it,?it finds you. Iām tired, I went fishing, played golf, and became hungry. My friend dropped me off here while running errands. I walked in, and before I reached the counter, I here a voice. And when I did, I stopped in my tracks. The voice simply said, āwelcome sir, Iāll be right thereā. I immediately knew that man was successful, and doesnāt realize yet, maybe never will. Iām no angel, but I know success. My definition of success is heart. Chase has not had a bad day in his life. He doesnāt know that yet, but thatās because heās young. Trust me, Iāve done enough damage in my life to be behind bars forever. I never hurt anyone, and wondered why I didnāt feel like everyone. This was all before I was 21. Iām 57 now. I donāt want to hurt his happiness. Chase is going to make millions. People like me find people like Chase. The money will be there. Chase will by chance, realize this soon. Hopefully you will before him. In all likelihood you wonāt, not your fault, Iām sure youāre great people. The food here is great, with or without Chase. Iām sure heāll never see this. Chase has heart. Fortunately, that will never change. Chase will always be successful. Millions before 30, heart for life. Thank you Chase. Youāll realize soon...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt is beyond sad how TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE has now become the norm. Long story short, I went to Fuzzy's in Lewisville on 7/2/2024 and ordered 6 ground beef tacos on flour and 4 tempura shrimp tacos on corn; however, when I got home, all of the tacos were made with flour tortillas. Because I am being health conscience and I personally don't like flour tortillas, I called back to the store to report the problem. I spoke to a very nice man, Maverick, who was the store manager. Mr. Maverick was very apologetic and stated whenever I came back, he would not only replace the shrimp tacos, he would replace the entire order. I told him that was not at all necessary to replace the entire order; however, he insisted and stated he wanted to make it up due to me being inconvenienced.
Fast forwarding to 8/13/2024 when I finally went back, I spoke with a rude, young lady named Holly, who stated she would have to call her off-duty manager, Steve. She stated that Steve could not only honor replacing the entire order, but, not even the shrimp tacos that I paid for and the cooks screwed up. Holly went so far to say the nice manager, Maverick, had been fired for doing stuff like this. Basically, she stated that Maverick had been fired for going above and beyond to provide EXCELLENT customer service. WOW! This truly is a SHAME. Again, this unfortunately is the world we live in where treating customers, poorly and hateful, has become the norm.
I've attached the original receipt that I showed to Holly to prove that I had spoken to Maverick and to show proof of my purchase that the cashier correctly keyed in, but, it was prepared,...
