Lovey's Homemade Ice Cream — Restaurant in Lewisville

When I walked in to this ice cream shoppe, I was immediately gripped by the modest signage and cheeky ol' fashioned posters lauding the joys of ice cream and screaming.

Then, I met the artist. And yes...I do mean artist. What this remarkable woman has managed to accomplish with ice and cream has left me breathless. It was as though I was seeing color for the first time! I thought I knew what love was...and then I tasted her lemon ice cream. It's not tart in the slightest, but the flavor lingers nicely. My only complaint about the blueberry cheesecake flavor is that I didn't think to buy every ounce the store had in stock.

If I have to gain 300 pounds to keep this establishment afloat, if I have to spend my entire savings account on pies and sweet servings of ice cream, that is a burden I am willing to carry.

Homemade ice cream in flavors that are just out of this world! I can't rate this place high enough. Are there 6 stars that I can give? It's unassuming, but the woman who runs the place is beyond amazing and makes the experience what it is! She is generous with samples as is she with her ice cream sizes. Her personality is as big as her samples, and she's beyond a joy to interact with!

Added bonus for adults: there are adult flavors with a touch of spirits that add an interesting twist!
