The 2nd order box was the only one taking orders. 3 cars passed me while I was waiting at the main box and no one took my order. I pulled up to the window and the employee was very nice and informed me that the box wasn't working. He called his manager twice to which she ignored him. He had me pull to the next window to order. Now 20 minutes into me arriving and pulling straight to the box I still have not ordered. The girl at the window went to ask her manager what to do and she just rudely motioned to her to have me pull back around. At this point that was not an option for me as I had already been waiting 20 minutes. I asked if I could get a discount for the issues and having to wait again in line. The manager could be seen and you could tell that she was frustrated. The girl took my order finally. She gave me items and closed the window and turned away from me so I drove off, then realizing I never got my kids meal. I went to the door closest to the drive through and it was locked. I knocked on the door and no one even looked at me. I drove around to the other door and went in. The manager saw me and refused to come help me. I had to say hello? To get her attention again to come over. She came with a very stern voice and said rudely "the lobby is closed!" I said I'm sorry I just came through the drive through and I didn't get my kids meal. Can I get it please? And she said the lobby is closed! I said I understand but I need my kids meal that I didn't get. She said again louder at me, the lobby is closed! She then turned to the girl who had helped me at the window upset with her asking why the door was unlocked. She brought over my kids meal, I thanked her and left. What a REDICULOUS experience! I can't belive the manager was SO rude not just to me but to her employees. You could see the frustration in their faces/ what they indicated to me about her being rude and ignoring them. 100% not a good person to have in your store AT ALL let alone being the manager. Read moreThis is not the first time I’ve had this experience at this McDonald’s, and unfortunately, it happened again. I placed my order through the mobile app about 15 minutes before arriving, expecting it to be ready. However, after arriving, I waited several minutes before my order was brought out. I was told that because it was a “special order,” it isn’t sent to the kitchen until I speak at the Drive-Thru speaker. This completely defeats the purpose of ordering ahead, especially when payment is processed immediately.
Also, what is the point of selecting “Drive-Thru pickup” if, after paying and confirming, you are told to park in a curbside spot until your order is ready? It makes no sense to offer all these pickup options in the app if they aren’t going to honor them.
When I reached the window, I was given my drink, which was extremely small for the price. At that moment, I specifically asked the employee for four spicy sauces to be included with my order. When another employee brought my food, I asked if my sauces were included, and she said no because “it wasn’t ordered with the meal.” I explained again that I requested them at the window when I received my drink, yet it still wasn’t done. The attitude was dismissive, as if my request was inconvenient.
It’s disappointing to see this level of service, as it shows little regard for customer satisfaction. I also work with clients, and I know how important it is to take care of them. If we don’t, they won’t come back, and it will impact business. Unfortunately, the customer service here feels careless and, at times, rude. Read moreUpdate: We came through again this week later and had a young lady in the drive through take our app number. While we sat in line we watched her repeatedly hand our frozen drinks to the car in front of us before ultimately giving him them and our food. We then had to sit at the window while they scrambled to remake it all. Our new drinks came in sticky cups. They did not ask us to pull over and instead had a line wrapped around the building behind us. We were in that drive through with the line building for at least 15 minutes. Seems like a bunch of panicked teenagers with no real management unfortunately. We did not receive a single apology. . Previous: To have someone be on drive through who will tell you that they don't have multiple items purely because she doesn't understand you is not acceptable. We asked multiple times for two ten count nuggets in order to use a deal and she refused to ring us up for anything but the 20 count. The deal was shown on multiple posters around the building and we had to pay double what we would have.
