Alfredo's Grill — Restaurant in Lexington

So. A 90.5 Sanitation Grade. Small joint. Dive joint. Crammed into a small space joint. Call it what you will. We went here.... Drive thru that takes orders and prepares them WHILE YOU WAIT (would totally HATE to be in that line! This is what "call ahead and pick up" is for my peeps! NOT place your order at the window and then block the window for 30 minutes waiting on your order... Ugh!) Some people. We dined in. It's not exactly the epitome of ... Well... Casual dining. No. How about we just call it eating in? We were promptly greeted as soon as we walked in the door. Please find a seat (6 or 7 tables to choose from). It's a very small place. Not hard to choose. We sat next to a trash can, a high chair and the bathroom - there's only one and it locks with a slide chain lock. It was clean, however. The menus are printed on to go take away menus. They have a very wide selection of items to choose from and they serve breakfast alllll day long. The best part? Their prices are insanely great! Not cheap, but great. We ordered the shrimp and flounder plates (fries, cole slaw and hush puppies) and they were delicious! The shrimp did not have that chunky breading that usually comes when you order shrimp at a non-seafood house. These shrimp were very lightly breaded and oh so good! My flounder was cooked to perfection! Granted. We're at a hole in the wall and ordering seafood, which all came out of a bag, I'm sure, but the cooking process was ON POINT! The fries and hush puppies were awesome and the coleslaw was good. Our server was the best! Ragged her about only having Pepsi products and she played right along. Checked on us regularly and kept our drinks refilled. She was great. Alfredo's. What else can I say? It's a dive... But it's got great prices and awesome food! We're going back! You should check them out. If you go through the drive thru, just call your order in ahead of time and then pick it up. You can find them and their menu online and their prices correspond correctly. They also have daily specials. Overall, we had a great experience....

Been there a couple time and had multiple different items and everything was very delicious. I definitely recommend and will be going back often. Oh you also get large portions and it's definitely worth the price. This is not get what you pay for food or service I will be honest that's what I was expecting but was very much surprised. Staff was very friendly...

Chef Grade food. I am one and this food IS someone the best food I've ever eaten in my life including Ruth Chris's. Very warm welcome staff. Great speed on drinks n refills. They even provided my dog a cup of water! A must go if you want food that's done right. Great atmosphere inside. I would invest money in this guy if I had it he's...
