I have been meaning to check this new location out and finally found some time to give it a shot. I will start off with the location. This place was decently busy (12-15 customers) and I showed up about 30m before they closed. The location is a beautiful place with several rooms all offering a different feel. I walked up to the counter and there was no one at the counter. I waited about 5 minutes before noticing a small bell that would need to be pushed. (Not a fan of these especially with a place full of guests). I tapped the bell and a young lady came out and asked if I needed help. I ordered a vanilla cappuccino and tried to make some small talk about the new location while she was making it (this didn't go anywhere). The drink was about 4oz with the foam and $4.75. While the price was fine the portion was exceptionally small. I was able to finish it with 3 sips. The taste was also good. There is a small alcove with some merchandise and the walls are also full of Beautiful local pictures that are for sale. Overall the location is great, the beverage I tried tasted good and the Merchandise was appealing. Where the visit could have been improved would be a bigger serving and a more outgoing Barista. Definitely worth...
Read moreI typically show grace and have never left a bad review in my life, but today I visited this location around 3:00 and requested an iced caramel macchiato for my girlfriend . The barista insisted that itâs just an iced latte, and if I wanted something like âStarbucksâ it would be an iced latte. Understanding the barista looks inexperienced, I said thatâs ok. I tried to give subtle clues as to how one is made. With as rude context she implied they donât exist and asked me if I wanted a traditional hot macchiato. I said âno thanksâ and just waited for my doppio instead, obviously pulled too long and not smooth, but thatâs ok. I can handle mid espresso/coffee as long as the service is good. Customer service/obsession is a basic business principle for success. I had high expectations for a shop that boasts onyx, etcâŠbut I was let down. Please coach your associates on basic soft skills, and how to understand the fundamental difference with latte vs macchiato espresso+milk layering and ratios (google is free when in doubt). My girlfriend didnât get a drink, and youâve lost a potential customer. Never have assumed biases. I donât go to Starbucks. There are better local shops than this around Lex. Iâll be...

I'm hanging out until noon, visiting my new granddaughter about half a mile away, and my son recommended Brevedé as their favorite coffee shop. I'd already been to the original location on Manchester my first day here, May 5.
Around 9:45 a.m., I ordered a tea from Taylor, and met Veurika, owner with her husband, Nick. She shared the concept of Brevedé giving back to the community around the shops.
I love the atmosphere, the spirit and heart behind the business, and the excellence offered in everything from drinks, to food, to good conversation. â„ïž
A great place to visit or "hang out" for a...
