Golden Apple Fruit Market — Local services in Lexington

I've been wanting to stop here forever and since we recently purchased a home in the area I decided to take a walk through the neighborhood and stop in the on the way back. The plants and flowers caught my attention right away . They are absolutely beautiful and lush looking . You can tell the woman who takes care of them is so gifted ! The fresh produce looked amazing as well. And there was a variety of tomatoes that looked so good ! Actually all the produce looked amazing . They even have pink pineapples which I've never had but definitely want to go back and get . The condiments are my dream come true the selection is crazy good . Jams made out of fruits I wouldn't have thought about . And reasonably priced at 7.00 . Salsa made with all kinds of different fruits and spice levels . Honey and different fruit butters . BBQ sauces that again got my attention as well. I didn't purchase anything this trip but I'll definitely be back to buy in all honesty more than we need but sometimes it's more of what you want and I WANT it all. Good looking fruit. They have some different types of honey from places relatively close. Eastern ky and parts of North Carolina. Also some different flavors of cider. My favorite part, I dont know if I'm just late to the party or if you really dont come across them very often but they had black watermelons for sale. Heard about them but never seen one in person. A 'hidden in plain site' gem! We passed by this place so many times without knowing what it actually was before our curiosity got the best of us, and we were so very glad we stopped!
