I saw this cute little sandwich shop running errands in Lexington today and I just had to stop. I am so glad I did! It is so cute and quaint on the outside and keeps the same aesthetic inside to match. It’s family owned and I had the pleasure of meeting Joe. He was so kind and you could tell he was passionate about the business and the food they offered. I tried the Chicken Salad on a Croissant with Lettuce and Tomato.. it was so delicious! He also had samples of his homemade Caramel Cake.. it is seriously to die for. I could not leave without a slice. We had a great conversation and you just felt like home. Don’t leave without a sweet tea! I can’t wait to go back.

I hate to leave a bad review for such a locally adored restaurant. I had a chicken salad sandwich which was prepared quickly however it wasn’t great. It was a very wet chicken salad with a strong flavor of relish. I though for a second it was tuna salad. I also tried the lemon bar dessert which the first piece I broke off I noticed something shiny, there were metal shards of the sheet pan it was baked in on the bottom of the dessert. A sandwich, drink, bag of chips and dessert was $17. I wouldn’t return personally, but they had a very kind staff and the atmosphere was homey.

We look for family run restaurants when we travel. We had a chance to sit down for lunch at Cribb’s for a quick lunch. Anyone who wants exposure to some warm Southern hospitality should stop here. It is a charming spot with gracious cheerful service! We got a little bit of the history of the place from the owner who gets up every morning at 1am to prep the food for lunch. It seems to be a popular spot for the local families and everyone there seemed to know each other by name. What a precious place!

Now listen here...this ain't your regular sandwich shop...this here is a Cribbs Family Kitchen! If I might take a moment of your time and give you some advice...when you get hungry tomorrow you go on down to Cribbs. Mr Cribb is so pleasant and so you make sure you greet him first...now...you get to looking for Mrs Cribb...and when you are blessed enough to find her...you politely just ask her to make you something delicious with a bowl of the soup of the day. Now she may ask you a few follow up questions ans Mr Cribb will come up with a name on the spot but you don't fret none...just pay the man his money, take your sweet tea and find you a seat and you just wait and see. See what you may ask...well the mound of deliciousness they will bring directly to your table will have you never wanting to leave...and that is just the main course...we ain't even got to the homemade pies, cookies, and other goodies...I'm partial to the lemon bars and the pimento anything on sourdough. Don just walk but run on over tomorrow and I pray you make it before they run our of the soul of the day! Thank you Mr & Mrs Cribb for opening up your family kitchen to the rest of us! I...

This was mine, my husband, and our girls first time stopping at Cribbs and ordering food Togo. I was indecisive and stuck between getting a chicken salad sandwich or getting a French dip. After asking a few questions I settled on the French dip and the homemade potato salad, I even let my husband try it and we both agreed it was the best choice, it was absolutely amazing and the best French dip around! My husband got a roast beef sandwich and macaroni salad and I tried his macaroni salad and it was absolutely amazing, and he said he’s glad he chose the roast beef sandwich because it was by far the best he’s had. Both or our sandwiches were LOADED with meat. Our girls enjoyed the bakery and loved the sugar and lemon cookies. My husband decided to try the cinnamon biscuit and omg it was absolutely amazing! I want to thank the staff and we will most...

Really don't see what all the hype and stellar reviews are about for this place. You walk into the place and immediately feel like you're going to fall through the floor. The prices are extremely high for a sandwich that tastes like it was made at home. They don't use sub/hoagie rolls just your regular sliced bread. The meat was piles high but seemed like your bottom of the barrel sliced deli meat. The roast beef was overly garlicky. No fountain drinks or refills. You get a can of soda with the basket alongside a simple bag of 25 cent ruffles chips.

Save yourself the time money and heartbreak and stop at Groucho's right next door instead. You'll pay about half the price, get better quality meats, and have a much...
