Best Western Plus Lexington Inn — Hotel in Lexington

Hotel is either brand new or going through some major renovations and upgrades right now. This was not an issue for us at all, there was no construction noise or mess, I'm sure when they're finished it's going to be beautiful. The rooms were impeccably clean and smelled amazing, everything was disinfected, nice selection of toiletries, there was not one spec of dust anywhere I would rate the cleaning a 10 for sure! The staff is very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable, everyone greeted us with a friendly smile, you could really feel that "southern hospitality" I would recommend this hotel to anyone especially if you're traveling with kids and or pets. In the morning they had a nice selection of breakfast goodies, muffins, yogurt, granola bars, fruit, coffee, variety of teas, and a breakfast sandwich which we really enjoyed. The room had everything you need including a microwave, and refrigerator, and really nice tiled floors (so much better and cleaner than carpets) the linen and pillows smelled like heaven it was perfect to say the least. You can tell that the rooms are somewhat dated and the air conditioner in my room kept the room cool, but it was very loud and woke me up every time it turned on. I did report it to the staff.

The building has two elevators, which is really nice, and they both work very well.

The free breakfast is okay, and they are just like every other hotel serving the water whipped scrambled eggs, which are horrible. However, the waffles were great, and I don't have anything good to say about the rest of the breakfast. The guy that was in charge of the breakfast was very helpful, and you can tell he enjoys his job.

The parking the parking can be difficult when the hotel is full.

The maid service did a good job of keeping the rooms clean.

I was here five nights in a row & I can not say enough good about the people they have working the front desk. They were always very cheerful and said hello and we're there for all your needs. Just a fantastic group of people. The hotel hit the nail on the head...

Very disappointed with stay. Rooms are way overpriced. Photos so a "refreshed" hotel but although rooms have been refreshed some still an older property. Entrance can be missed very easily- only one way in and out of the property. Our room immediately upon checking in had a strong fragrant odor- feel like fragrance was over used due to strong sewer gas smell coming from the bathroom. Boyfriend ended up sick at 3 am and had to miss the event we had come into town for and I was so nauseas we ended up packing up and leaving the next afternoon after the function we had come into town for was over and driving the 5 hours home. Blowdryer had seen much better days and I was afraid to use it. Bathroom floor had white spots on it.
