I saw this cute little sandwich shop running errands in Lexington today and I just had to stop. I am so glad I did! It is so cute and quaint on the outside and keeps the same aesthetic inside to match. It’s family owned and I had the pleasure of meeting Joe. He was so kind and you could tell he was passionate about the business and the food they offered. I tried the Chicken Salad on a Croissant with Lettuce and Tomato.. it was so delicious! He also had samples of his homemade Caramel Cake.. it is seriously to die for. I could not leave without a slice. We had a great conversation and you just felt like home. Don’t leave without a sweet tea! I can’t wait to go back.

I hate to leave a bad review for such a locally adored restaurant. I had a chicken salad sandwich which was prepared quickly however it wasn’t great. It was a very wet chicken salad with a strong flavor of relish. I though for a second it was tuna salad. I also tried the lemon bar dessert which the first piece I broke off I noticed something shiny, there were metal shards of the sheet pan it was baked in on the bottom of the dessert. A sandwich, drink, bag of chips and dessert was $17. I wouldn’t return personally, but they had a very kind staff and the atmosphere was homey.

We look for family run restaurants when we travel. We had a chance to sit down for lunch at Cribb’s for a quick lunch. Anyone who wants exposure to some warm Southern hospitality should stop here. It is a charming spot with gracious cheerful service! We got a little bit of the history of the place from the owner who gets up every morning at 1am to prep the food for lunch. It seems to be a popular spot for the local families and everyone there seemed to know each other by name. What a precious place!

I really enjoy this place, I can only review the pimento cheese and desserts because that's all I've ever had. I usually get the pimento cheese on sourdough and it's delicious. I have a big appetite and I can usually get two meals out of it. The desserts are delicious, but one thing that really stands out more than anything is the friendliness of everyone there. It is truly a hometown restaurant with hometown vibes.
