first of all I wanted to say it's nice to have a Dunkin Donuts in Lexington we've been without for a long time! The service I received was five stars the location was fivestars cleanliness! The reason for only three stars was the bathrooms were locked and I just figured someone was in there but after over 15 minutes of not seeing anyone leave I asked one of the workers and they said oh we lock it we have to unlock it for you so they did and I wish there would have been a sign saying ask for bathroom to be unlocked so I wouldn't have waited so long second once I was in the bathroom it was very clean but my issue was two things one there was no trash can and to the main reason I'm only giving three stars was above the sink there was instructions for employees for washing hands and on the instructions it says to use paper towels to turn off the water faucet and I like to have a paper towel to as well open the door while leaving that makes sense to wash my hands and then have to touch a handle that possibly the person before me or persons did not wash their hands and there was no towels so I ended up getting some toilet paper so that once I washed my hands and use the air machine to clean dry my hands I had some way of opening the door using the toilet tissues instead of just my bare hands but once again that leads to the trash can which many other restaurant establishments Place one by the door so as you leave you can throw your tissue away conveniently but instead I just carried it out to the front lobby and use the lobby trash to dispose of the toilet tissue I used to open the door just a suggestion the bathroom was very clean but to have that sign telling employees to use a towel for shutting off the water supply after they're done doesn't make sense if there's no tissues available besides the toilet tissues which are not really good for drying hands and I think this explains my 3 star rating so to recap no paper towels 4 following proper instructions on the sign you all have hung for the employees and the trash can 4 throwing away any tissues would be helpful again thank you and I will be back they're...
Read moreThis location is consistently bad. I’ve been going to the one on Versailles road and although the donuts aren’t perfect there either, the coffee is always perfect. Anyway, yesterday the Versailles road location was closed due to not having power because of the storm the day before. We drove over to this location to see if it was open. It was and the line was out into the road. We waited and I ordered my usual - iced coffee and a strawberry frosted & a chocolate frosted. The guy at the window seemed stressed which was understandable because of how busy they were. I got my stuff, tipped a couple bucks and we drove off. My coffee was great but imagine my surprise when I open the bag and there’s no strawberry frosted or chocolate frosted, but 3 old fashion donuts. I was a little upset because it’s not what I wanted but I don’t mind old fashion donuts so whatever. BUT those donuts felt like they were a week old and must have been fried 10 times. All three were rock hard and were not edible. So we waited all that time and didn’t get what we ordered and then couldn’t even eat the donuts we were accidentally given. I would have gone back if the line wasn’t still all the way in the road.
I 100% understand accidents happen, so that’s not the part that bothers me. The part that makes me mad is whoever put the donuts in the bag KNEW they were rock hard and couldn’t possibly have thought anyone would be ok with them. I’m sure a ton of other donuts they served that day were the same. There’s no way I happened to get the 3 rejects of the day. It’s the laziness and no f*cks attitude that bothers me.
I’m from New England where there’s a Dunkin on every corner. I’m glad to see Dunkin is getting more popular here but it’s just not the same. Even a good donut in Lexington isn’t a truly good Dunkin donut. Unless of course the quality has gone down at Dunkin in general, which is...
Read moreI don't have a Dunkin in the city I live in, but I stop at this one a couple of times a week when I'm nearby for work, shopping, etc. I have never seen better people working at any other Dunkin, and I stop at many while traveling! The employees are all so incredibly kind and helpful! I often just give a review if something was bad, but I stopped there yesterday during my work day and they went above and beyond! I was bummed that they were making me what I was told was the last kiwi watermelon refresher they had, because they had finally run out of the syrup. I pulled up to the window and they surprised me by giving me the concentrate container, with just enough left for me to make one last one for myself at home! Another time, I was having a rough day, and when I came through the drive through, they noticed I had recently been crying and they gave me some donuts to take home for my kids as well as a couple of donuts for me! They were closing soon for the night, and had a lot left! It was so sweet of them and I hope you all take great care of these lovely workers!...
