Einstein Bros. Bagels — Restaurant in Lexington

Einstein Bros. Bagels is easily my favorite place to eat on UK’s campus. The bagel sandwiches are really good; I’ve tried the vast majority of them. I would recommend the Albuquerque Turkey if you want a hot filling sandwich and the Tasty Turkey or Turkey Bacon Avocado if you want something fresh. The bagels themselves and cream cheese spreads are also really good. The coffee is not good. If you’re gonna get a drink, get one of the frozen drinks or (my favorite) a chai latte. I have gone there so many times and not once have I had an enjoyable experience. I don’t know if there is a manager but if there is they need to reconsider who’s working there because every single time doesn’t matter who the employee is there is attitude and eye rolling. Told them my sandwich was missing bacon and the cashier wants to start talking shit about me to the rest of the employees. This employee has received so many complaints and yet she still works there. Awful customer service, they need to get better workers. I would go there religiously and it’s constantly the manager on duty as well as the employees giving looks and talking about the customers as they are sitting right next to them. As someone who works in the food industry the customer service along with the numerous wrong orders me and other customers have gotten, this is not how this should be run.
