Went here for an early dinner with friends. The atmosphere is fun and there is a a decent beer selection. Would go here again for a drink, not a meal. The food was not very good. It was disappointing. I ordered the pretzel with beer cheese. The mixture of the Brie and Camembert cheeses and beer was not good. I did not enjoy the taste. The pretzel was fine, though a tiny bit over baked. I also ordered the duck confit with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The mashed potatoes and vegetables were good. The duck had the texture of being boiled first then pan fried to make the skin crispy. Th e meat had liquid but was dry and there wasn’t much flavor. Not good. The fish and chips were okay. The fish was a bit too greasy and over breaded, but the fries were good. The salad was very good, except for the addition of the Roquefort cheese which overpowered the simple flavors of the dressing and the dish. All I could taste was the cheese. The food did come out very hot and pretty quickly.

Enjoyed visiting this location for Ethereal, but still perfer the other location in Lexington. Do have to say it was nice that this location offered food. Ordered the sharable scottish salmon and pimento cheese, which was really good. To be honest, the best part was actually the fresh, perfectly baked bread! Beers were pretty good, but the rice rye was a bit disappointing. However, this was the first time we were slightly disappointed with an Ethereal beer. However, this is our opinion and we have tried lots of beers from many, many breweries. Service was very friendly attentive. Highly recommend visiting either of Ethereals locations. You really won't be disappointed, just be sure to sample it first! Biggest drawback to this location is parking...good luck is all I can say!

The the folks who work here are wonderful, the restaurant had a great vibe and was very clean, the blueberry muffin sour was the best sour I've had in a while, but the food was just terrible. My friend and I ordered different things, but both meals were so incredibly salty that we couldn't tell the difference between the fish and the patty melt. There was so much salt that it made me wonder what the kitchen was hiding. I couldn't taste any of the individual ingredients that made up my sandwich for all the salt that was not only mixed in with the meat but also sprinkled on top of the bread. I left disappointed and dehydrated. Go for good beer and a great place to hang, but maybe have dinner at home first.

My husband and I visited Ethereal Public House this past Sunday and absolutely enjoyed it! I ordered the S&V wings and the Rosti Potato. The wings were super flavorful and juicy. The Rosti potato was a little salty for my taste but the sauerkraut on top was out of this world! My husband ordered the Pretzel and Obatzda...get it. The pretzel itself was super fluffy inside and perfectly crusty on the outside. The Obatzda was cheesy perfection. Smoky, salty, creamy...all the good things. He also ordered the Fish and Chips. My husband isn't a fan of tartar sauce but ate ALL of the tartar sauce in the cup. He also raved about the hush puppies! I didn't take any photos because I was too hungry to wait and I don't regret my decision at all. If you're looking for elevated pub food and good drinks in a fun atmosphere look...

We recently hosted our rehearsal dinner in the upstairs portion of Public House and were very happy with the service and food! Greg was very accommodating and came up with a fantastic personalized menu for our group that was within our price point. Ask about the asparagus bruschetta if you are catering a large group, it was a huge hit with guests and talked about the whole weekend. Donovan was very hospitable and ensured that all our guests were taken care of and went above and beyond to ensure that we were having a good time. We were sad to not catch his stand up routine (we hear its wonderful). Chris was hilarious and a welcomed addition to our party. The other staff that we had the pleasure of meeting were all very kind and seemed to love where they work. Thank you so much for having us!! We can't...
