I’ve only been to Triangle Park a few times, but the times I went, I had a decent experience, mainly during late summer and early fall so far. It's a decently large park for being right in the middle of the dense city, giving you a pretty good break from the surrounding concrete jungle. I’ve yet to visit the park during any events, but I’ve heard they’re pretty fun, especially the ones during winter, so I can’t wait for those. The only downsides I’ve experienced when I’ve visited is that the traffic of the surrounding roads can get decently loud and annoying, there's the occasional piece of litter on the floor, and finally, the tables there somewhat frequently have trash left on them from whoever used it last. Which could be partially because there aren’t many trash cans within the park. Overall, though, it's a nice park and a good break from the concrete buildings around it. It's just unfortunate that it's been neglected a little bit.

Gorgeous design! While in a roadtrip through Lexington with my husband, we happened upon Triangle Park. How could you not? This park, that is the shape of its name, is one of a kind! Located next to the Rupp Arena, the fountains draw you in from afar! The park area is grassy and is the center of the triangle with a food place located to the right and tables with chairs throughout. Walk close to the fountains and enjoy a mist of cool water especially during these hot temperatures. The sound alone can clear your head on the most stressful day. Good for kids and dogs 🐾 Would definitely suggest a stop by! *wheelchair accessible entrance and parking. Picnic tables available.

Unfortunately this nice little park is overrun by homeless and drunks. The trash is everywhere from the taco stand. The beautiful fountain and the fact that city takes a decent care of the trees, flowers and the grass aren't distracting from the unpleasant appearance. Could've been so much more, but looks abandoned at times.

I haven't been back since I finally managed to get myself a new phone (after nearly 2 years spent using a Walmart-generic prepaid burner phone that cost me $40 brand-new and only went rapidly downhill from there), but in the earliest days of Pokémon GO, this park was my go-to source of endless Magikarp, which I spent a shameful number of hours lobbing virtual balls at, idealistically anticipating the day when I'd finally have enough candies to transform just one of the uselessly floppy fellows into a magnificently badass Gyarados. I'd been probably within twenty candies' range of accomplishing that feat when I lost the ability to use my previous phone to play the game, and unfortunately I could not reconnect to my original account when I returned to play again, so it was all for nothing and I've no idea if there still exists a seemingly unlimited source of pointless orange sea-monkeys at this park... But the nearly-suffocated remnants of that idealist I once was sort of wants to...

My latest review is a bad one.Homeless drug addicts getting high in plain view of tourists( a cheerleader convention) The park now has a resident drug dealer Selling in the park in plain view There are grocery carts, canvas wagons, a pregnant woman smoking out of a glass pipe with a round ball on the end of it ( not weed) there are dogs not on leashes People smoking weed People smoking cigarettes. It has developed an unsafe environment for tourists & residents alike! There were security guards but they have disappeared from the scene The city needs to address this situation quickly as Convention People go home and report stories of the park Concert goers go home and talk THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR THIS...
