I haven't been back since I finally managed to get myself a new phone (after nearly 2 years spent using a Walmart-generic prepaid burner phone that cost me $40 brand-new and only went rapidly downhill from there), but in the earliest days of Pokémon GO, this park was my go-to source of endless Magikarp, which I spent a shameful number of hours lobbing virtual balls at, idealistically anticipating the day when I'd finally have enough candies to transform just one of the uselessly floppy fellows into a magnificently badass Gyarados. But the nearly-suffocated remnants of that idealist I once was sort of wants to...
Read moreI’ve only been to Triangle Park a few times, but the times I went, I had a decent experience, mainly during late summer and early fall so far. I’ve yet to visit the park during any events, but I’ve heard they’re pretty fun, especially the ones during winter, so I can’t wait for those. The only downsides I’ve experienced when I’ve visited is that the traffic of the surrounding roads can get decently loud and annoying, there's the occasional piece of litter on the floor, and finally, the tables there somewhat frequently have trash left on them from whoever used it last. Which could be partially because there aren’t many trash cans within the park. Overall, though, it's a nice park and a good break from the concrete buildings around it. It's just unfortunate that it's been neglected...
