I went here for a birthday dinner with my wife. I was very excited to try it out, as one of the few rooftop dining experiences in Lexington. I really wanted to love it; however, Infinity didn’t live up to my expectations. Here are a few reasons why. 1. We went at 6:30 pm on a Saturday night. It was surprisingly empty and there was no fun “restaurant buzz.” You know the kind of ambience that makes the place feel like people are excited to be there. This would easily be forgiven, but even the staff seemed convinced nothing exciting was going to happen. 2. I ordered a burger and my wife the brisket tacos. I asked for my burger to be cooked medium, but it was delivered over-done. Additionally, the fries were the saltiest fries I’ve ever had in my life. Texture was good but I tried to dust them off as I ate them. (Context, I’ve never thought fries were too salty and I find things consistently under seasoned, so this was a shock). (My wife found her tacos were only warm upon delivery and the flavor was mediocre.) 3. Our waiter was fine. He didn’t do anything wrong, but he also didn’t seem too engaged in our experience. I realize it’s a hard line to walk sometimes—having waited tables myself—but he only ask if our experience was going okay seconds after our food had been delivered and before we’d had more than a single bite. I can appreciate a laissez faire approach once you know a customer is satisfied, but I don’t think that was what was happening. I ended up not ordering a drink because I was too full and was nervous about the quality. I might try the bar sometime, but I won’t be back for the food, sadly.

Couldn’t wait to get to the restaurant for dinner and drinks! I was sadly disappointed. We requested outside, to enjoy the rooftop view. We were beside a dirty building as a view. Then we ordered 2 drinks , which were $14 each and that should have been the 2nd strike, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt, and looked Over these 2 things. This didn’t happen, it got worse. I ordered the Caesar salad with chicken protein. I got it and it barely was dressed and no chicken (sigh) so I tell the waiter and he said oh I’m sorry let me go get you the correct salad so I said thank you, knowing everything is good now . . .but nope it didn’t. I waited forever to put salad in a bowl and add chicken, but that didn’t happen. They finally brought me a piece of dried thin chicken on a saucer so I could add to the salad I already had, which had gotten soggy from sitting there. The waiter said that this is the best we could do, couldn’t replace my salad and then expect me to prepare my own chicken. So to end our horrible experience, he did say that they weren’t going to charge me for the chicken!? Wth To go in it ? Heck no! $50 of the one of the worst places to eat. The only thing this place has going for them is the fact that it’s in the Marriot. Tsk tsk tsk come on Marriot, better get something in there that customers like me, don’t have this experience. Smh

I have been here a few times and I have never experienced the amount of horrible service at any other restaurant. First, I called the restaurant in the morning asking if there were any reservations for tonight. The man then told me “We aren’t taking any reservations for the month of March. Just call 30 minutes before you come and we will get you seated.” This man was extremely nice. I thanked him then proceeded to make plans for dinner. 1 hour before we planned to head over, I called. No answer. I called a total of 4 times. No answer. We headed over to the restaurant. Upon arrival the hostess told us “that guy is new he had no idea what he was talking about.” No one took credit for lying to us and saying we didn’t need a reservation. Apparently people were making reservations over the phone all day. We waited and got seated. We waited for two hours before getting our entrees. I was served the scraps of fries and a burger that had bones in it. I am outraged because this is a choking hazard and I could have broken my teeth on a BURGER.

My experience started going downhill from the moment I stepped off the elevator! I arrived at 8:25 for an 8:30 reservation for 15 people. I was greeted by the hostess (faith who was wonderful) and told our reservation was stolen by another large party seated across the restaurant. Faith immediately went to speak with management and returned to tell us she has made them aware of the situation and she was waiting on further directions. We stood and waited for management for 10+ minutes when faith made another trip to management to ask for a solution. Two managers did eventually come out and told us the party that “stole” our reservation arrived at 7:30 ( 1 hour before my reservation time) with a party of 18 (3 more than my party). One of the managers told us they needed a better system to monitor reservations to make sure they weren’t “stolen”. However, If the party that sat as my reservation had been asked to produce their confirmation just as I was asked this situation easily could have been avoided. We were asked if we could split up as an option we didn’t accept. Management and staff then scrambled to create a table for us by placing 7 round tables together in a single row right next to the restroom and we were offered 20% off our bill. I appreciated the effort but the awkward shape of the table stretched our party out so we felt like we were at different tables.

9:15 , 45 minutes after our reservation time we received our first round of drinks. The drinks we great and our server Tre was polite and able to make suggestions and answer questions regarding the drink menu.

10:40, 2 hours and 10 minutes after our reservation time 10 of us received food while 3 of us waited until nearly 11 for our food. We asked for silverware from a server that helped deliver the food only to see her walk to the front and socialize with other employees. One of our guests finally had to get up and get it for us. ALL the food was cold one party guest had to have her steak remade only for it to come out the second time overcooked again. The last meal received was salmon that was RAW!!

Management never checked on us and was only seen again around 10:50 after multiple requests. The manager told us both of them had been in the security room so they weren’t able to check in on us and they had to send a staff member home for drinking on the job so that’s why the pace was so slow. It was obvious she wasn’t comfortable addressing any of our issues and concerns starting with our initial interaction regarding the “stolen” reservation.

11 of the 13 of our party has or does work in hospitality. We understand things happen and we’re more than patient. We’ve been there we get it and we definitely have compassion for anyone who works in the service industry but this experience was terrible! It just kept getting worse and worse! Our meal was finally compt as the raw salmon was the last straw. We were there for 3 hours and we honestly should have just left 45 minutes in to...

Extremely disappointed by my recent experience at SkyBar. When I made the reservation, the hostess I spoke to was very sweet. She asked if we were reserving for an occasion and I told her it was for my college graduation. Upon arrival, my party and I stood at the hostess stand waiting to be seated for nearly 5 minutes before anyone greeted us. At this time, the restaurant was maybe at 25% capacity. Once we finally got seated, our waitress (Carson) took our water order and then we didn’t see her for 15 minutes. When she did reappear, it was not at our table. She spent her time mingling with coworkers at the bar. We sat there waiting to order for so long that one of the members of our party actually approached her to make sure she hadn’t forgot about us. Carson was unable to answer simple questions about food and drink items, such as how many fried green tomatoes come in an order. After finally placing our drink, appetizer, and lunch orders at once.. she brought everyone’s drinks except for 2 beers, which were left sitting at the end of the bar, waiting to be served. She, again, managed to disappear. We actually had to ask another server to please grab them for us. As we finished up our meal, instead of asking if she could get us anything else she said, “Can I bring you the check now?”. Nothing was ever mentioned about my graduation. She was completely unapologetic for her lack of attention, and arguably rude. As a former server/bartender, I would have understood had she been busy, but she was blatantly inattentive. I’m not sure if she was relying on the 20% automatic gratuity that would be added to our party or not. By the time we got the check we were all so ready to get out of there that we did not even bother to explain this disaster to management. My family, friends and myself were all very disappointed. I will highlight that the food and drinks (minus the margarita) were tasty, and the ambiance was great. Beyond that, I don’t have anything positive to say about the experience and do not...

If negative stars could be given!! From start to finish this was the worst experience ever no exaggeration. When I arrived, I was informed by other members of our party that our reservation for a party of 15 had been stolen by a party of 18 that arrived an hour earlier than our reservation. (Please make that make sense)

After being ignored by management for about 20 minutes, they finally grabbed tables from around the building and awkwardly placed them in front of the bathroom, because of the shape and size of the tables It really made for a undesirable quick fix.

Over an hour or so we are sat & finally received our first round of drinks. Though we shouldn’t have, we placed orders for appetizers and food trying to make the best out of the situation.

before we received food keep in mind management has never came to check on us never came to apologize never walked by just nothing by this time the whole situation has become frustrating.

The food starts coming out and too our shock and surprise. We are served over cooked stake, raw “ oven, roasted salmon”, cold burgers, cold pasta, frozen beer cheese in a bowl. All while other members of our party are sitting and waiting an additional 10 to 15 minutes for their food.we asked one of the servers who was bringing our food out for silverware, and she ignored us and went and talked to her friends by the elevator. A member of our party had to go and hunt for silverware, because none of the servers acted as if they knew where silverware was.

Clearly, at this time, there is no fix to the situation. A member of our party finally tracked down a manager who informed us she was busy earlier and had to leave because they had a staff member drinking while at work who leaves a restaurant (without management????)

Horrible management, horrible staff, horrible cooks

They never have to worry about me ever patronizing their business again, and if you have other options of places to go, please do this was a horrible 1st and last...
