Since they remodeled their food quality and ability to deliver a consistent product has suffered. My last three visits have averaged about 40 minutes to get my food and each time there has been something wrong.
My last visit I sat at the bar and ordered three entrees to-go, they brought each one out about every 20 minutes. My sushi came first, 15 minutes later they brought out my hamburgers, I ordered three and they brought two cold burgers and fries. It would take almost 20 more minutes to get recooked burgers and my Cordon Bluegrass sandwiches. Harry's fries can be amazing but these were bland and over overcooked, I would have sent them back but did not wait to another 20 minutes.
Previous visits have seen equally long wait times, food that was wrong or under-cooked and lots of apologies from servers. I even had a manager try to fix a problem with a hamburger only to bring me a replacement with exactly the same issue.
I have been going to this location since it opened and have been a long time fan of BHG, items like the mini cheeseburgers is what made me love Harry's but today if you get one good one out of three you are doing well. The other mini sandwiches have similar issues, burned, dry meat served on equally dry buns. I know they can do better but now it is no longer them having one bad night it is many bad nights.
I will keep trying because when they get it right it is delicious but at some point there is no reason to pay higher prices for lower...
Read moreGreat food, terrible service. BHG management should take notice of lazy, inattentive bartenders. Busy Friday, seat at the bar and quickly ordered a Beer. Bartender (Regan) never asked about food, and essentially disappeared. I had to hail a barback to order food. 25 minutes after ordering, food arrived; dropped- no questions about what else I needed, like ketchup, water (which I did, for the Fireside burger), and the extra ranch dressing ordered. Nobody checked in on me. I put down my payment card shortly after food was delivered. 15 minutes later had to hail someone, again a barback, not a bartender, to take it. I'm a generous tipper; would typically leave $6 for this discounted one person meal ($16 tab). They got $2, which is what they deserved. Management should take notice, of the bartender apathy. They were on phones and making jokes, being very inefficient behind the bar. Busy is good for them, but great service keeps restaurants in business. I'll go to other restaurants first,...
Read moreI stopped into Harry’s on Friday afternoon around 1:00, they were busy so I took a seat at a dirty table, they finally came out and cleaned it off, and told me my server would be there shortly, I texted my friend that I had a table when I sat down, after having numerous servers, assistants and managers walking by I flagged down a server, she obviously didn’t have my table by the look of disgust on her face, by this time it was 12 minutes since I had sat down, hence the time I sent the text, the server I flagged down finally came back and I told her don’t worry about it, and got up and went inside. Then Savanah came up to the table immediately, very nice, and accommodating, ordered the Buffalo shrimp appetizer that used to be so good, now they serve 6 tiny shrimp covered in batter hiding on some lettuce, no buffalo sauce, had to ask for some, not worth $20 at all! This visit was a very bad thing, I will no longer go there, bad from...
