Jeff's Donuts — Restaurant in Lexington

This is an honest review. We went to check out the new donuts. I’m a long time customer of Dunkin but wanted to give it a try. When we walked in there were two young woman working. They both were nice BUT the one that waited on us didn’t know her job or wasn’t properly trained. We genuinely wanted to know if they cooked in house or was the donuts brought into the store and when asked where the donuts come from she replied and I quote, “I don’t know I just work here.” So sad. One that people don’t value their job anymore and two that they truly are just there for the paycheck. Anyway on to the donuts…. They had a good variety and we got four of them. 1. The round large with the peanut butter. This was horrible! It was like literally a scoop of Jif in middle and the donut was hard. 2. The chocolate chip with cream on outside not in… it was softer but cream tasted very waxy and the chips were your average out of bag mini morsels . 3. Fruity pebbles , awful . Hard and 4. Some sort of twist that was so hard didn’t want to eat. The chocolate taste like out of a can and hard and even looked bad on the donuts. The donuts are all $2.50’each no matter what you get. For $10 for 4 I would say pretty pricey . Needless to say I will stay with Dunkin and never...

Delicious Donuts, Budget-Friendly, and a Free Side of Attitude Listen, if you’re looking for good donuts at insanely low prices and don’t mind getting served with a sprinkle of hostility, this is your spot. The donuts? 10/10. The prices? Basically a steal. The service? A social experiment. The lady at the counter must have some kind of psychic ability because she overheard my friend simply mention which donut looked good and before my friend could even blink, BAM! That donut was in a bag. No request. No order. Just enforced donut selection. Absolutely bananas. Then she tried it on me, but I’m a bigback so I was getting the food I wanted. I said, “Nah, I actually want this one,” and you’d think I just committed a crime. She let me have my way, but not without judgment. Then came the payment fiasco. The place was EMPTY, yet when I took (I swear) less than five seconds to pull out my money, she literally laughed at me like I was on some game show where the clock was ticking down. Ma’am. Please. Yummy donuts with wide variety of flavors! They’re soft and moist and overall a good texture. The frosting on all of them is the best part I think, especially the maple and chocolate. Temporarily went through a few stages of grief when I cut my cream filled long johns in half to see no cream, but turns out it’s just further to the side, not in the middle. Staff were nice, when I called to ask if I could come and pick up the “correct” donuts after the cream saga, they said I could. Since I discovered there was in fact cream, I luckily did not have to go do that. Sorry to whoevers time I wasted on the phone, I was just really dedicated to getting a cream filled donut.
