We had what I would call a perfect restaurant experience when we tried Libby’s this week. We just had a baby and this was our first date/outing with our little one and it will forever be an amazing and cherished memory for us. Our waitress, Ella, was very courteous, polite, knowledgeable about the menu, and attentive to us. Her service really elevated an already excellent experience. The restaurant’s atmosphere was very relaxed, yet clean and orderly. The food was phenomenal. We had heard good things about Libby’s and were still surprised at how top-notch the food was. We split a large Greek salad, which was extremely fresh and had the most delicious dressing! We also split the Fat Tony and chose a side of fries with that, and split the Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap which came with a chosen side of the slaw. Both entrees were astoundingly delicious. I was so surprised at how GOOD everything tasted. The portions were perfect. The food tasted so fresh and nourishing, while also being really satisfyingly filling. All of their sauces are made in house, and their ranch and also their vinaigrette are excellent. The fries were really good too; you could tell the oil they cook the fries in isn’t old, and they had this delightful mashed potato like consistency on the inside. The slaw was not overly sweet which was great but it was a tad mayonnaise-y for my personal preference (it was still really good). We are excited to try other menu items like the Philly cheesesteak, the Reuben, and a calzone or pizza in the future when we visit again. Overall, HIGHLY recommend Libby’s. You will NOT be disappointed. This restaurant would absolutely boom in more food-centered towns like Savannah, Charleston, or Asheville in my opinion. Top tier and a home run in every category from food to service and atmosphere. Thank you, Libby’s (and Ella), for an amazing and memorable experience!!

Never been to Libby’s before. I was looking for somewhere to take my mom for her birthday and probably didn’t do enough research. It was far more casual than I envisioned. The waitress was wearing shorts and the atmosphere left a good bit to be desired. The service was excellent & I’d go back for that reason alone. First up was the fried green tomatoes and honestly they were the worst I’ve ever had; probably in my entire life. Zero salt or seasoning. I’m a fried green tomato expert & these fell seriously short. Super thin, more breading than tomato and dull. I had the Folly Beach shrimp and asked the server if they were truly SC shrimp and she said they were. They tasted fresh and were probably frozen but I can’t say I could tell if they were. They were lightly breaded, again no seasoning but perfectly cooked. Entrees are offered with only 4 choices of sides, hand cut fries , raw fries, pasta salad or slaw. I’m not a fan of Mayo based slaw ( theirs is) so I chose the pasta salad & hand cut fries. The fries were good but under salted for sure. The pasta salad was decent, not overdressed. My definition of raw fries must be different from theirs as a dining companion got these and they were crispy like a chip. That same companion got the BBQ shrimp and said the sausage was almost inedible as it was suffering from being severely over cooked. It couldn’t even be cut with a fork despite being paper thin. My spouse had the Libby burger and said it was good. Additionally the tomatoes were served with a dill ranch sauce made in house that was very good and the shrimp were served with a cocktail sauce that was horrible. It tasted just like ketchup with no hint of horseradish whatsoever. Huge miss on that. I left thinking Libby’s has much room for improvement but overall was just ok. Truly the service was the highlight.

For years we liked going to Libby's to the point we actually ordered take out a couple times a week. Over the years the quality became hit or miss and we decided to spend our money at other restaurants. I finally talked to my husband about trying them one more time. First off, they had the pizza ready before he arrived and he sat there for 25 minutes before they slapped the wings on top of the pizza and told him he was good to go. When he said the pizza was cold, Lisa, the manager, said she could run it through the oven again. So my husband agreed. He paid in cash. She handed him 4 singles back and that was that. He brought home a stone cold dried out pizza that we ate because we were hungry and had just spent 46.00 on pizza and wings. The wings were okay, but barely any sauce to them at all. At 18.00 for 12 wings, a little more sauce isn't unreasonable. The best part is she handed him back four singles, but it should have been 4.27 in change. This wouldn't phase me normally, but since when does management round DOWN on a paying in cash customer? We have had a couple of other complaints over the years, and Lisa has been excellent to address them, but this seems as if we are not welcome to spend our hard earned money at this establishment. Gotcha. Message received. Ferrara's, Bellacino's, Marcos, and Papa Gio's like our money. Best of luck to you.

When you 1st go into Libby's you may think it's kinda small. However, spend a few moments there & you'll realize that's one of it's biggest charms! See at Libby's everybody & I mean EVERYBODY is a "regular", even if it's your 1st time. The staff is unbelievable, the servers are always so friendly, helpful, attentive & professional (even when they're are slammed busy), the kitchen crew are nothing short of culinary experts! That may sound like an exaggeration, but it's NOT! Libby's menu is very diverse, from seafood, to wraps, to salads, to pizza & even calzones! 🤯 Libby's is NOT an Italian restaurant, but their pizzas & calzones are truly better than anything I've ever gotten in an actual Italian restaurant! Just to be clear though, all of their food is that way! In the rare off chance you should have an issue of any kind (like my Mom had raw fries which had been over seasoned) it's absolutely not an issue, they apologize several times (which absolutely wasn't necessary, the food was amazing, there was just way too much seasoning on the raw fries, which let's be real is not hard for anyone to accidentally do), had a fresh, new order up in minutes & seasoned perfectly. I'm sorry this review is like reading a novel, but it's so hard to find a truly good place & even harder too find a review that's actually about the establishment. Lastly, you can't capture the Libby's experience in a few lines. Do yourself, taste buds &...
