Nefertiti — Restaurant in Lexington

Me and my colleagues went to this place because of the weird name (Atleast I think Nefertiti is funny) It is a easy 5-star. The food was awesome. The first time I went, I got the Shawarma sandwich. Even though the sandwich was awesome, I couldn't eat it like a Sandwich. It was huge and everything inside fell out.So I had to eat it with fork anyways. The second time I went, I got the lunch specials which was less around $8. They would even mix the meat if you ask them to (beef, chicken, lamb) , so that's a good way to try everything without ordering a single plate of everything. It looks so liitle in the pictures, but it's so much and I can guarantee you will be full. I got the lentil soup as a side and it was tasty with a tint of Mediterranean flavor in it. I also got the Turkish Coffee, which is like 7 or 8 shots of expresso, Really strong with a very fresh aroma and I liked it. But I am not sure if I will get it again though because it kept me awake for a really long time that night. I will definitely be back again at NEFERTITI... (Don't laugh, it's not...

Absolutely the BEST falafel 🥙 sandwich I have ever had. And let me tell you, I have had MANY! I grew up in the middle east and love Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food.

This falafel sandwich was AMAZING. First off the falafels were perfectly fried and delicious, but it's not just about the falafel, it's about what is added with it. Well, let me tell you, the tahini salad, with the right amount and kind of pickles, made this sandwich the absolute best.

But it doesn't stop there. I had the spicy chicken yesterday and it was tender as it was scrumptious. The flavor was incredible and the meat just fell off the bone 🍗.

I also tried the baba ganoush and hummus, Both were absolutely delightful!

The staff is very friendly and service is fast. Whether you want to take out or dine in.

My only regret is that I don't live in Lexington, but luckily I spend a lot of time here, and I will 100% be back!

Nefertiti was the perfect name for this restaurant, because like the queen herself sitting on her throne, Nefertiti sits at the top of my list of Middle Eastern...

I placed a to go order through their website! I read rave reviews on this place from food to service. I ordered Chicken Swarma with a side of hummus! Note: I chose PayPal at checkout and for whatever reason it goes through Grubhub. So the attendant didn't have my order ready. Great friendly customer service. This will makeup for the mishap on them giving me Steak instead of Chicken Swarma If you're a season-savory person you'll love this beef. I personally didn't particularly like all the season. For my side was hummus. It too had season which I thought was too strong like the Beef Swarma. End the end food was really good. However I will say the food at Mr. Kabab was better, and I ordered the same food there a week ago. Their young blonde customer service person was terribly rude though. Which ruined my experience there. I will be returning to Nefertiti because they appreciate all their customers and it shows with the friendliness...
