Rosati's Pizza — Restaurant in Lexington

Lexington just got a whole lot tastier thanks to the new Rosati's! My family and I recently had the pleasure of ordering from their menu, and it was honestly a 5-star experience from start to finish.

We opted for a Hawaiian pizza - a classic choice, I know, but sometimes the classics are classics for a reason! From the moment we opened the box, the aroma of deliciousness hit us. The crust was perfectly cooked - crispy on the outside and with a satisfying chew on the inside. The toppings were incredibly fresh, and the cheese? Oh, the cheese! It was gooey, melty, and absolutely divine. Each bite of this pizza was an explosion of flavor and texture - a true testament to Rosati's pizza-making skills.

We also ordered a chopped salad, and let me tell you, it was no afterthought. The ingredients were crisp, fresh, and perfectly chopped. The dressing was light and flavorful, complementing the salad beautifully. It was the perfect balance of refreshing and filling, a fantastic accompaniment to our pizza feast.

Needless to say, we were all thoroughly impressed with Rosati's. The combination of top-notch ingredients, perfect execution, and delicious flavors makes them a clear winner in my book. We'll definitely be ordering from Rosati's again soon - there's a whole menu to explore, and I have a feeling they won't disappoint!

I was really hoping this place lived up to the reviews I had read. Unfortunately it did not. The place was packed inside and out when we first arrived and no one was eating. That should have bern my first clue but I was expecting some growing pains here. The staff didn't say anything about being behind or backed up which to me is basic customer service so we assumed they got slammed at one time. An hour and 20 minutes after we ordered, we received our small Chicago style pizza. By the time we got our food the restaurant had cleared out and including people who came in well after we did. No one ever apologized, no one ever spoke to us. One of the workers made a point to speak to all the customers but not us which made the whole experience feel odd. We know Chicago style takes longer but this was excessive. On a positive note, the restaurant was very clean.

On to the pizza, it was mediocre at best and frankly not very warm. Crust was unevenly seasoned and in some places doughy. The sauce looked like a can of diced tomatoes was dumped on it but did have a little more flavor than that image implies. We opted for the Italian sausage which was excellent. I normally do not like Italian sausage but at this point I was thankful for it.

I can’t say enough great things about this place—it’s truly become one of my go-to spots. This is actually my second time ordering pick-up from here, and once again, they exceeded my expectations. From the moment you place your order, their customer service is spot-on. They genuinely make you feel valued as a customer, and it’s clear they take pride in providing a great experience.

I was especially impressed when they stayed open during the storm. Not only were they serving customers despite the bad weather, but they also had extra food available and went out of their way to offer me something on the house. That level of kindness and dedication really stands out.

As for the food, I can’t recommend the Calzone enough—it’s absolutely fantastic. Every bite is packed with flavor, and I always get it with extra mushrooms, which makes it even better. The crust is perfectly crispy, and the filling is always generous and fresh. I also tried their garlic bread this time, and it did not disappoint.
