Honestly, I have no idea if I've been baited and switched. Ordered the sashmi regular (small print "comes with rice"), but received sushi instead, and appeared as "sushi regular" on the receipt. [this can't have been a mispronounciation as I had decided on sashimi after a heavy lunch] ; and the green tea was more hot water than tea of any kind [whether sencha / matcha ; or even just lipton]. The only decent highlight was the sake ; although I seem to have been upcharged for the $7.50 larger one instead of the smaller one at the $4.50 [which I suppose isn't that bad, since I needed it after that meal]. I suppose I sort of deserved this since there was a red flag [?] when I googled sushi restaurants (see screenshot) ; so I guess the advice of: "you can tell if a restaurant if good if the owners didn't put any effort into advertising or the restaurant name" doesn't hold for Japanese restaurants. Either the food was terrible, or the server somehow managed to mishear me ; so I'm splitting the difference between Food and Service.

You can’t beat all you can eat especially when it covers the whole menu. I came in hungry so I could get the most for my money. Started with crab Rangoon as an appetizer along with the spicy California roll. My friend got the dumplings. For my entrée I chose the hibachi steak and shrimp. Overall it was very good. I will say that the steak was slightly overcooked making it hard to chew. My friend got the hibachi steak, chicken and shrimp and she was having a hard time eating her steak. Well, my friend did not end up finishing her meal I did and decided on dessert. I got the cheesecake I was not expecting it to be fried, but it was a pleasant surprise. It tasted great, and I would highly recommend! it would be nice if it was served with a little bit of ice cream . We only got water to drink so I believe with tax it was like $28 altogether. Plus tip so a nice meal for $35 altogether. The only reason I gave 4 stars was our server wasn’t the happiest didn’t bother me but my friend felt like she had an attitude

Decided to try new spot, so I gave Sumo a shot. Ordered online for lunch and it was bagged and waiting when I walked in the door. I got the Lunch Chicken Hibachi. The portion was crazy large for a lunch item, the chicken, rice and vegetables were delicious. Thanks to the large portion, I get to have leftovers for dinner! I will definitely be back soon to give a few of their sushi rolls a try! **Don't let the picture fool you, there are veggies and chicken under that mountain of rice**

We were a party of 7 on a Thursday night around 7pm. The restaurant was not really busy. Our waitress was friendly but service over all was slow. Six of us ordered off the hibachi menu. Cooking on the Hibachi grill is not done in the dining area but in the kitchen. 3 This was a disappointment but we still ordered. All the food had a good flavor but the meat was over cooked. Four of us ordered steak and the waitress said the cook usually makes the steak medium but we asked for medium rare and she made a note on our ticket. All our steaks came out well done and chewy. The food had a cook flavor just not cooked to medium rare. We told the waitress and she talked with the cook about this and they decided to give us 20% off the total bill. We appreciated the gesture but would have preferred our steak medium rare but we appreciated the effort to fix the issue. Also, we were never asked if we wanted refills on our waters. We were short silverware and we let the waitress know but after not getting it I went to find some. Plus side, the had gluten free soy sauce! The restaurant looked clean. We sat out in the patio area. Unfortunately, we will not...

I have been here so many times that I would loss count. For the first time today I had the worst experience ever at a restaurant because the way my family dress and color of our skin. I thought my sisters and I would go to my favorite place to have some sushi, at first I ordered some sushi and mind you the place wasn’t busy or packed, I had to remind her of my order again. I also asked for ginger and wasn’t given any till I finished my food and got up to go ask for some myself. With all of this, I was trying to be understanding. I really got to me was the tip being included in the receipt, which my sister had to ask for cause she just left us sitting there. I was cool about it. Another waiter came to and said he will help us with the payment and I was doing Apple Pay. I went with him at the register to pay and I say receipt where people before me tip wasn’t included added to the receipt. I was really disappointed today cause I always had good service there. By the way I was telling my sister we should be tipping waiter more than $10 but after what happened I just left it to what they...
