I am an OTR truck driver and I open this review with this statement to give you an idea of how I live. So it's safe to say that being a trucker on the road, we don't eat the healthiest and we mostly eat on the go. In those RARE moments that we do have a chance to dine we take full advantage of those times. Yesterday I decided to stop at Taco Bell omw back home to Florida and grab something more healthier to eat. I recently was diagnosed as pre-diabetic and I read that taco bell was a more healthier choice if you're going to eat fast food. I noticed upon my arrival that most of the kids were standing around chit chatting and there was lettuce and pieces of cheese littering the floor. My thoughts were to turn around and walk out of the store. But I didn't really have THAT much time, and I was really craving a wrap! After ordering my food I decided not to dine in and to take my food to go,( I really wanted to beat traffic and get ahead of it ). I noticed once I received my order how my food was very poorly wrapped and it looked as though the tacos I ordered were just placed inside the wrappings and just folded over! No real attempt was made to keep my tacos or wrap protected or hot. After eating my tacos and making it to my wrap, I got about halfway through my wrap and I discovered that about more than half of it didn't have ANY meat!!! I unwrapped it to discover that I was only eating lettuce cheese and tortilla. I must say that I am very disappointed and angry at the lack of care and preparation used in preparing my order. At the 20 minute mark, I asked about the status of our order and was told it was on the way, they were really slammed in the drive thru, and operating from one line. Then apparently the girlfriend or acquaintance of an employee walked in and suddenly two if them magically found time to hold a conversation and hug it out with said person. Another 10 minutes go by and we are told that because of our wait, they would double our order for free as an apology. THIS IS UNNECESSARY. IF YOU CAN'T GET THE ORIGINAL ORDER OUT IN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME THEN WHY DOUBLE IT? At the 40 minute mark, an employee comes out with two giant bags of food and an apology. Okay great. We thank them and leave, check the order, and NOTHING IS CORRECT. ONCE AGAIN, WHY WAS THE DOUBLING NECESSARY? That is my biggest complaint. I'm being fairly reasonable as I witnessed two employees walk out and completely abandon their mates...I assume they quit. There is nothing that justifies leaving one segment of customers waiting an exorbitant amount of time and for them to still receive incorrect items, especially when the problem is acknowledged...
Read moreOkay, I usually DON'T complain, I Compliment... But today is the 3rd time in less than 2 weeks that my order is not correct! (1) food was good, but not what I ordered, and given a regular taco & cheese instead of pintos & cheese. Store was empty besides myself and a gentleman waiting 15 to order his food. Associates were arguing on who was going to take front counter. Young lady with long pink hair won to be in the middle! Was given 4 free taco coupons!( 2) Again missing 3 Locos tacos from my order! And then today! (3) Missing a Doritos locos tacos! When it's $15-$20 total evey time, & the drive thru screen is correct what's the problem guys???? It shouldn't be the customers place to have To do a bag check b4 leaving the window or counter! Please get it together guys! I have never called up and complained or made anyone up there upset because of my order.. Take it upon urselves...
