I'm sure the restaurant would be just fine if you arrived during a time that wasn't busy. We happened to be there during a large convention. There are only a handful of tables (about 6), one of which was in a separate room for a large group (maybe 10 people). Needless to say, all the tables were taken. We found some outdoor seating at a bar around the corner that allowed us to eat there. Again, the restaurant was tiny. They had one employee working the front (waiter, bus boy, cashier, everything) and I think only one person was working on the back (cook, dish washer, etc). We could see the place was busy, so we asked what the approximate wait would be before we ordered. The waiter said 30-40 minutes. We do realize this is not a science but a simple estimation. It took more that 1.5 hours to get our food. Eating at the bar ended up being terrible. We were down wind from all the smokers at the bar. Eventually a homeless man that clearly had schizophrenia sat near us. He was continuously talking to himself in aggressive language. He scared the kids so we had to exit quickly before everyone was done eating. The food was good, but not phenomenal. My curry was served scalding hot (temperature not spiciness). I burned my tongue pretty good. The Pad Thai and Pad See Ew were both good but not nearly the best I've had. I also heard from others that this place was just as busy before the convention started. That being said, the food was not worth the wait. Maybe I'd consider coming again if I had lots of time, and I knew I'd be ordering to pickup and eat at home. Otherwise, I'd probably...
Read more10.16.2024: We ended up at this restaurant after the restaurant we went to was randomly closed. We hadn’t been here before and my husband was craving Thai food. I am so glad the other restaurant was closed. The service was fast and friendly but the star was the food. My husband got the Pad Thai and it was good. I got the Massaman Curry and “oh my god” literally came out of my mouth when I tasted that curry. I had my husband try it and he said the same thing. No joke! We sat there and continued to eat. My husband asked for another taste (Actually more than one). After a bite he said “I think that is one of the best dishes I have ever eaten.” I hadn’t wanted to be dramatic but when he said that I instantly agreed. The depth of flavor in that curry was insane. I have never tasted anything that built up with flavor like that. When we were leaving he jokingly said “want to go...
Read moreThis place has good food. I had a red curry chicken entree in coconut milk with basil. They exchanged the vegetables that usually comes with the meal for broccoli. It was good.
The unfortunate thing I witnessed was seeing them send more than one party away for seated dining. They were informed they were only taking to go orders. Both parties walked out. More than an hour before closing. Understaffed and I heard the kitchen staff wanted to go home. WOW!!!
Not really fair to the gentleman waiting tables. His income is decreased also the restaurant lost sales. Not fair to the guests that wasted their time and gas to get there One party had at least 4 hungry potential customers.
I watched amazed how customers were sent away to appease...
