I was so excited to see Stan’s open up in Rosemont! It’s the only vegan donuts my kids can consume due to their allergies, other than prepackaged from Whole Foods. Most other places use nut flour or milk. I have to say I’m disappointed from today’s experience. This particular location is not inclusive to people with dietary restrictions, although they serve vegan and gluten-free donuts. I ordered 3 vegan donuts: 2 classic & 1 chocolate. I asked if the donuts contain eggs, peanuts, or tree nut (my usual), although I already know it probably doesn’t, I’d rather be safe in case ingredient lists change. When I was rung up, I noticed the bag had donut marks from the gloves of employee. As I watched the employee, she used the same gloves to serve all the donuts. I asked the cashier if it’s possible to get a fresh set of vegan donuts with new gloves since my kids have allergies. They could have touched donuts with nuts and grabbed vegan donuts for me. She said it won’t be 100% nut-free, I said ok. (My kids have had Stan’s and I understand they’re all made together.) In a moment, another employee, who looked like a manager, came and took my bag of donuts. With the same gloves she was already wearing, took the vegan donuts out of my bag, put it on display, grabbed new vegan donuts from the tray and gave me donuts in the same bag she took from me. She whispered something to the cashier I spoke to, looked at the her gloves as she was speaking, rolled her eyes, and walked away. It defeated my purpose of avoiding possible contamination. I felt discriminated due to allergy restrictions. On a positive note, decor was on point. Place was so noticeable since there was Stan’s Donut truck and a big donut balloon located outside. Inside was very inviting with modern looks. I went on a Saturday morning after a week of opening and it was quiet busy. There were some people waiting for their coffee but donut line seemed to move. Hope this new location will get it together soon to be more inclusive.

We visited Stan's Donuts in Rosemont, and I must say, it was an absolute treat for my taste buds! The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by the delightful aroma of freshly baked donuts, and I knew I was in for something special. One of my favorite donuts at Stan's is their old fashioned chocolate. The rich, indulgent chocolate paired perfectly with the moist and fluffy donut, creating a heavenly combination that left me craving for more. The attention to detail and the quality of ingredients truly shone through in every bite. Another standout for me was the toffee donut. The combination of the buttery, crunchy toffee pieces with the sweet glaze was simply divine. The texture and flavors were perfectly balanced, creating a donut experience that was truly memorable. Aside from the incredible donuts, the service at Stan's Donuts was exceptional. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the different flavors and offerings. They made sure that my visit was enjoyable and that I had everything I needed. The ambiance of the shop was also worth mentioning. It had a cozy and inviting atmosphere, making it the perfect place to sit down, relax, and enjoy a delicious donut with a cup of coffee. Overall, I highly recommend Stan's Donuts in Rosemont to all donut enthusiasts out there. Their old fashioned chocolate and toffee donuts were personal favorites of mine, but there are plenty of other flavors to choose from that are equally delicious. Treat yourself to a visit to Stan's Donuts and prepare to indulge in a truly delightful donut experience!

Before the pandemic lock-down, I worked in an office daily. Infrequently, someone would bring in donuts. I would try to resist the calories by reminding myself I am thinking of the best donut I ever had. Ultimately, I'm disappointed as the donut in front of me will not meet up to my memories. One day, someone brought in Stan's Donuts. I never heard of Stan's. Opening the box, there was a variety of donuts, but what caught my eye was the double chocolate old-fashioned. That looked really good. When I got back to my desk with half the donut, I bit into it . My mouth was flooded with an intense chocolate flavor; it was semisweet chocolate. A second wave of a different chocolate washed over my past when I tasted the chocolate cake. During that initial bite of my first Stan's Donut, I realized this is the best donut I have ever had; all other donuts will be measured against this donut. Today, we stopped by Stan's Donuts in Rosemount after a Friday night dinner for dessert. We each ordered a pastry. I of course went with the double chocolate old-fashioned, others ordered the pistachio old-fashioned, the spinach and feta croissant, and the "Cruffin" (a buttery, flakey croissant stuffed with vanilla pastry cream, and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar). Everyone shared their selection. For me, my double chocolate old-fashioned was the clear winner, but the Cruffin was a close second. The staff was friendly and efficient. The bakery had plenty of comfortable seating and outdoor seating available in pleasant weather.
