Breakfast was their only saving grace!!! They sent us to the wrong room, as I just drove all day and was tired then put me and my family in an upstairs room. Rude. No apology. I get it people are tired but an I'm sorry would have went a LONG way with me but there was none as this woman was older and usually this group of aged people are more mannerly than this woman. The internet wasnt working, she just hands me a card and tells me to follow the directions and that it was because there were so many people on the internet. If you want good service, perhaps its time for a new provider for your internet or a new server either way, it was awful and could only be used on my daughters kindle. Housekeeping tried to get us out of our room before it was even time for check out. The vending machines didnt work an then one that did had nothing hardly in it. When asking the other clerk about it she said that was it. Now I have in my life worked in a hotel, I would have asked my customer if they would have liked a banana or a snack that they put out in the morning to help them out. Anyway...I might as well have went and stayed at America's Best Value down the road at least my expectation would have been lower. Not ever going to stay at this Days Inn as me and my family are usually pretty loyal...
Read moreI'm a trucker and I stay at Super 8 and Days Inn all the time. Right after I parked in the empty parking lot on the side where trucks park in car parking spots since they were on cement instead of mud. Older lady come knocking on my truck telling me to move into the muddy area. I've stayed at many Days inn over the past 16yrs of driving trucks. And never have I been asked to move. In fact I'm usually told to park in these types of areas. Especially since it's not right next to the hotel and it's a slow night. I took up 3 parking spots cause I didn't have my trailer. If I wouldn't have already paid through the rewards app I would have gone somewhere else.
I get inside figuring at least I'll be able to go soak in the whirlpool but find out the pool area is closed...then I get my suite upgrade because I'm a diamond member. Well this isn't a suite it's a room with no tub just a shower. Not in the least bit over sized it even has a small TV. So I call the desk to at least get a late check out which all hotels have. Well all but this one. This is by far the worse experience I've had with Days Inn...I will never book through the app again. I'd much rather pay more for better and...
Read moreThe room was small but clean with two double beds. The sliding door to the bathroom would not slide on the track. Overall, the room was adequate for a couple.||We had a well behaved dog that minded our commands. When we initially opened the door to our room, we could hear several dogs barking in a room next to ours. While we unloaded our belongings from our car, a man brought 3 small dogs outside the building then he proceeded back to the room next to ours. We settled in for the evening, then at random moments, the dogs would begin barking. Eventually, My husband knocked on the door of room 107, and no response other than barking of dogs. This went on throughout the night. Finally, my husband went to the front counter the next morning and explained the situation to the girl. She responded that the party was paying and further disclosed that they had been there 3 nights. She claimed there was nothing she could do. Note: we had noticed that the vehicle of the man & woman of the dogs had left and...
